Hotel Piemontese  

Hotel is situated vis a vis railway station, so it's location is perfect for city sightseeing, trips by train to Milan and other Italian cities, well connected with Airport (by city bus - line a - atb), great point of communication with all city atractions. You can use one line to go to Citta Alta, Castel, Citta Bassa etc. Very helpful staff, good price/value ratio, very clean and modern rooms (as for Italian standards - it is really impressive). I couldn't have breakfast, so I can't say what it was like. I would recommend this hotel and I hope I will have opportunity to visit it again.

Hotel Piemontese was a wonderful weekend getaway while we traveled around Northern Italy. A short train ride from the big city of Milan, the hotel was located quite near the station and very convenient to both the ancient part of the city and the more trendy areas. The hotel was lovely and our room was cute and clean, while the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a great visit and warmly recommend this hotel to others.

Like most other reviewers I found the location of this hotel to be ideal. I made several train journeys whilst there (Verona and Lake Como) and was able to buy my train tickets within minutes of leaving the hotel. The hotel has just had a major refurb and the results are very good, one gets used to the bright orange tiles in the bathroom after a couple of days. The rooms were kept immaculately clean and we slept with the windows open rather than use the air conditioning. This meant some traffic noise in the morning ( the Italians like to use their horns) but we preferred that option. Breakfast was fine, all items being cold appart from slightly warm boiled eggs. I managed to lock my passport and money in the room safe without recalling the number code and thought that disaster had struck but was quickly helped out by the receptioist and chambermaid. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Perfect location - bus stop to airport across the street, some minutes to go to the old city. 6.min. to go by bus to airport. Clean, comfortable room and good breakfast.

The best point about the hotel Piemontese is its location. Right across the road from the train station. 'We stayed overnight before flying back to Liverpool, so did not have to carry luggage very far. The airport bus stops right outside the station. The bedroom was comfortable enough and the ensuite shower room looked new and clean. Continental breakfast included in price was ample and tea and coffee plentiful. Reception staff and room maids were helpful. Fine for a 1 night stay but as the old town is not very far away and the bus (?1A) from the train station goes there, we'd probably try somewhere in the old town if we were in Bergamo again.

Apart from the vivid colour scheme (orange walls, orange tiles in shower room), nothing to remark on. Not much view outside our room window but as we were only there for 1 night view not important.

Very comfortable location.Nice and wide room.

Very close to railway station which is also handy for the airport bus. We arrived around 10 o'clock in the morning and although our room wasn't ready we were able to change and leave our bags at the hotel. Room was a good size with a spacious bathroom. We were overlooking the station but there was no problem with traffic noise.

stayed in room 309, lovely modern decor, seemed to have been recently renovated. receptionists very helpful, good breakfast. Hotel very conveniently across from train station. Were delighted to discover Christmas markets nearby.

We liked the location of the hotel so close to the train station.Our room was clean and comfortable.......The staff was especially helpful.

The room is very clean! It's quiet and warm inside the hotel. Convenient location to go to the other cities. Breakfast is quite good for the 3*hotel. Would like to stay here again.

For the solo traveller it is a little bit expensive.
