We were surprised to get the best room in the hotel, which is the top floor apartment, with a private sit out with the best view. Value for money Cleanliness Spacious Friendly staff Location
Noisy at night, but cant be helped due to the location.
Well priced considering the fantastic location. Pleased you've added scrambled egg to your great breakfast selection. 5th visit and will come again.
The volume on BBCW is abysmal - impossible to hear. Excuses are not helpful or useful. Please sort it out. Another problem was on packing to leave when I discovered an abnormal amount of dust on the bottom of my slippers. That means the floor was either not dusted every day or just not very well.
Location and facilities, especially the terrace bar/restaurant.
The noise at night, going on into the early morning. Bring earplugs!
It is very hard to find fault with the Pitti Palace Hotel. We arrived tired on a Wednesday evening to attend a wedding the following day. When we were shown our room we assumed it must have been a mistake - there was not one room but several...and a lounge...and two bathrooms...and a wonderful roof terrace all its own. We booked a family room for three. We got a magnificent suite for the night, at a painless rate (thanks to booking.com) Everyone was friendly and helpful. Every memory is of a sumptuous stay in a hotel we never dreamed we would be able to afford.
The hotel was steps from everything and the terrace on the roof where meals were served provided a wonderful view of Florence. Good room.
Very central location at Ponte Vecchio with easy walking to Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Uffizi and the old town centre
Excellent location Good sized room Comfortable
Breakfast was poor, a poor selection, not a lot of choice. Tinned food, not good
The hotel staff was very nice, the hotel was clean and the location was good.
The shower in the room was not as large as the shower in a motor home. The gentleman at the front desk indicated that he would look into and "fix" the internet server on the fifth floor, thus enabling me to receive email and the internet. That was not true and I do not think he was forthcoming with the truth about this. I was later told by another staff member that the internet is difficult to get on the higher floors and essentially unavailable from certain locations within the hotel.
Location, great staff. Clean room, great restaurant around closeby.
Very small shower facilities, tiny slow elevator. Difficult to get to by car.
Right beside the Ponte Vecchio, modern room with comfortable beds. Good food and pleasant helpful staff. Amazingly quiet considering the position!
Extremely convenient for the old town sites.
Excellent location and service, staff were all friendly, roof top dining was great, our room was on 5th floor, nice view and great for just taking in the friendly Florence atmosphere on the streets below.
Roof top restaurant offers excellent view of city. Atrium a nice place to relax.
Noise level. The location works against this hotel while providing excellent access to the city. Noise at night was excessive on lower floors (I was on Level 1).
This hotel is in a first class location and a short walk from the historic centre. The roof terrace bar is charming.
The bed was too hard and uncomfortable and the bathroom very small. Our room on the 5th floor was underneath the hotel restaurant and we were disturbed late at night and early morning.
The location is perfect, the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a taxi rank outside and it is only 2 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop.
Just been refurbished but the bathrooms were not as clean as they could have been. The bar was very expensive - 10 euros for a gin and tonic!
Hotel Pitti Palace is in an excellent position at the end of the Ponte Vecchio. Excellent breakfast on level 6 overlooking Florence. Easy to walk to many sights. Great views. Outside each room were a series of photos of what can be seen from that room.
Crowds in Auguat/early September. 'Hop on Hop Off' although great in some ways should make it clearer wher lines overlap so people don't waste time going over ground already covered.
This hotel had a perfect location in Florence. you could walk to a lot if the main sites. It was really clean, had everything you needed in the room.
The wifi was slightly annoying - you just need to keep getting password tickets from the front desk, but this was very minor.
Location Rooftop restaurant
Breakfirst too simple，small room，bed uncomfortable
There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel. The location was perfect, lovely clean and spacious rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with the seating over looking Florence. Great value for money
Excellent location right at the north end of the Ponte Vecchio. Rooms are fairly small but comfortable. Major plus point is the rooftop terrace and bar. Not sure if its only open to residents but it was never busy. View of the Dumo at night is incredible.
Location. Hood beds. Outdoor terass.
Some noice fr.o.m. the street surfing the night. But ok.
