The decor and cleanliness was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The location had great access to beach and shopping. The menu in the restaurant was way too limited though what I did have was good. Just not enough choices.

Very friendly and nice staff. Location near to the beach. Breakfastterrace with a beautiful view. Room with bath was very nice and clean. Room with view in the courtyard. The room was very noisy. The water jet in the shower was very low and so it was not easy to get all the sand from the beach off of the body and I was not able to wash my hair under the shower. But instead of the shower the faucet worked very well for that. Breakfast was nothing special, but ok.

very helpfull staff, location perfect, in case of good weather possibility to eat outside with a nice view, beach accomodation also perfect, parking area in front of the hotel perfect. all was positive in regards to the 5 star rating and prices maybe the beach/parking should be included in the price or clearly mentioned on the website that its not. but for us it was not a problem, but i can imagine that for other people it would and causes frustration on the reception desk.

The Hotel enjoys an excellent location just across from the main promenade in Viareggio. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient.The hotel offers a reduced fee to use the beach club opposite which gives you a parasol and 2 deckchairs as well as entry to any of their 5 swimming pools ranging from 1 metre to 1.80 metres in depth and therefore suitable for all ages from babies to pensioners.The hotel is situated at the southern end of a very long promenade which continues for miles into adjacent towns and is lined with boutiques and restaurants to suit every taste. Viareggio is also an excellent base for visiting other parts of Tuscany such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa and the Cinque Terre coastal villages.

The hotel has a very friendly staff, ready to help; the location of the hotel is very good, across the main boulevard and the beach; the loby is furnished in pastel colours and is very nice and confortable; the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel was close to restaurants, the beach and shopping facilities. The foyer was inviting and our bedroom large compared to others we have stayed in whilst in Europe. Staff were very helpful. We have stayed at others hotels in Viareggio and found the Hotel Plaza e De Russie to be the best.

La prima colazione, servita in uno splendito attico, non è all'altezza dell'hotel: caffè liofilizzato e brioches immangiabili. Capisco che siamo in bassa stagione ma forse è meglio rinunciare all'apparenza e priviligiare la qualità. Meno cose ma a livello dello splendito hotel.

Niente da recriminare sull'hotel. Ottima stanza, colazione e posizione. La cosa che però vorrei rilevare è la poca cortesia della reception. L'hotel ha una buona offerta su booking, quindi anche persone di ceto medio possono soggiornarvi, inoltre, potrebbero anche pensare a futuri viaggi presso l'hotel, nonostante I prezzi molto elevati senza l'offerta. Putroppo, e non è la prima volta che mi capita, le persone che soggiornano con l'offerta vengo trattate in "altro modo", poco cordiale e senza le informazioni utili per il soggiorno. Questo perchè? Penso che il target abituale dell'albergo non sia il mio, ma se vi soggiorno vorrei ricevere lo stesso servizio, poiché a volte piace anche a me essere trattata bene!
