Hotel Pupetto enjoys a beautiful location in Positano, directly on the charming beach of Fornillo, one of the most reserved and quiet spots of the city.

Hotel Posa Posa was an enjoyable stay, loved the terrace to our room overlooking the bay and the town. Excellent location out of the hustle of the centre of town but just a short walk in and perfect for when your legs are tired just take the local bus back and it drops you directly in front of hotel. Maria Theresa on the front desk is genuinely warm and kind greeting you upon your entry to the hotel every time. Giuseppe in the restaurant is jovial and accommodating for your dining and drinking needs. Overall just a great stay. Thank you Posa Posa!
Views, staff, balcony, restaurant
I loved the place, its a little further from the beach then we usually stay so more walking, which is fine for us, however, if you have an ederly parent with you walking might be fine going down but a taxi or bus on the way up is a must..The price was great more reasonble than what we could find in the area. They treated my 85 year old mom like a queen..
Nothing really other than its further to walk back up then most places. But it's Positano!!! Who cares.
The views and the atmosphere were spectacular. The people are amazing, the town and the waterfront are like a dream. Water is as pure acua marine color as is gets. The view from the restaurant terrace is spectacular. Giuseppe was a great ambassador for Positano. Thank you Positano!!
Definitely expensive using USD, the beach is rocks, no sand to be found, and the road traffic is a little difficult to get used too. Overall, don't pass up an opportuity to miss this spectacular and amazing place.
Not value for money. We stayed in anoter location (hotel Poseidon) that was also rated 4 star which was much better value for money.
The staff are very friendly
How the get you on extras
Location was good -
The hotel had a perfume smell throughout the hotel and in the rooms. The beds were hard as a rock and the hotel was outdated. We had a junior suite and we're very disappointed. The towels and bed linens were also very worn.
Excellent view Good service from the staff Rooms well maintained and serviced to suit your needs Traditional italian decor
Walk to get to the hotel from the centre Restaurant food was not great Hotel doesnt get the sun all day due to location
location, staff, the view, breakfast, very quiet and peaceful
they don't change the sheets, there was a stench in our room, and a lot of ants
Good location bus stop at the front
Not full sea view tree blocking on level 1 leaking shower complained nothing done
Friendly staff, matradee is the nicest person you will ever meet. View from the restaurant is one of the best along the coast
Hotel staff was very accommodating . It was very clean. The bus stop was just outside the hotel...made it easy to get down to the beach. Restaurants and shops close enough to walk to. Nice view from our balcony.
Furnishings are a little tired...but not a big deal. A little far from the beach if that is what you are looking for....but the bus stop made it easy to get to, and it is also walkable but not a hop, skip and a jump.
The stag is very friendly and location of the hotel is beautiful
The bathroom is very old and leaking
The hotel did not provide the room described in the booking. The room given to us, from which they declined to move us, has only a partial sea view - a huge tree obstructs the view. You are left with a view of the garage immediately opposite. The hotel is quite far from the hub and buzz of positano. The pool is knee high - its not designed to swim in. The management were unhelpful.
The views were stunning
This hotel is a 3 star at the very best, not sure how it got a 4 star rating. We were very disappointed in the quality of this hotel. It is tired and run down in areas, pool area not as it looks on website, beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable, bathrooms in desperate need of updating as they were very run down and not to the appropriate standard at all. Would not recommend this hotel at all and would not stay again, very disappointing.
We loved this hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful and our room was awesome. We have two kids (ages 7 and 9) so location, breakfast and size of room was super important to us. That paired with the great staff made our experience pretty much perfect. Can't wait to go back again!
Pool terrace abandoned and dirty
Mattress Pillows Furniture Breakfast No in room tea/coffee facilities
Staff were all great, view was amazing, restaurant was lovely.
No swimming pool, lack of atmosphere around the hotel, rooms and bathrooms very tired and definitely need updating.
The view. The wifi. The pool and staff. The balcony.
Drainage in the bathroom. Bar service at the pool.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This is by far the worse hotel I've ever had the unfortunate pleasure of even entering. Dirty beds, marks on the wall, previous guests dirty underwear in our room, cracked windows, rude staff. I managed to negotiate a refund with booking.com after 7 phone calls in their customer service and submitting photographic evidence to them. We had only booked Posa Posa to extend our trip, as myself and my wife loved Positano so much after spending 5 days there in a previous hotel, we were fortunate enough to move back to our previous 4* hotel in the main town, as by the way Posa Posa is 25 minute walk to the beach!! In a summary I've stayed in better hostels! .. Please do not waste your money, there are plenty of great hotels this defiantly not a 4* more like a 2* at best!!
It was like coming home to old friends and family. Everyone was kind, friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and simple and you can't beat the view
The staff, when around, were friendly.
The hotel is in desperate need of updating. The pool is in very bad shape and not someplace you would want to relax. Location is fair as it is close to the bus station.
Staff was excellent.
Leaky tub. Had to put towels on floor to keep from flooding room. Large pine tree blocked view of water.
Like the quiet mornings and evenings.
