In a quiet location only 10 minutes walk from the coliseum and 45 minutes walk from the Vatican so if you like walking an ideal position. Room was clean and tidy, you even had a choice of different pillows for your bed, never heard any other guests, Breakfast was adequate overall excellent value for money.
Only downside no tea or coffee facilities in the room although you could make one downstairs at any time.
Pick of pillow type, breakfast and comfort !
Small shower stall and elevator
Location, decorations - very cosy hotel, inside atmosphere, breakfast, very clean, welcoming staff, spacious room
Wi-fi connection was very slow at times, shower cabins are a bit too small
The helpfulness of the staff The cleanliness
Great breakfast with lots of options, and fresh fruit and juice. Coffee was really good and had a coffee machine in the lobby for a drink in the afternoon/evening as well.
The room looked directly into a wall, but since we only slept there it wasn't too bad.
this is our second stay at this hotel. the staff is very helpful, the rooms are very clean, the location is excellent close to metro and Colosseum, nice breakfast
no -, we loved it!
We celebrated my wife's birthday in Rome and spent three nights in this hotel. This hotel was exactly what we needed for this occasion. Small, cozy, with style. Centrally located, but not in the most crowded areas. Surrounded by good restaurants, pubs and wine bars where the local youth is used to hang out. Our room was big for what you would expect from the hotel in the center of Rome. There was an incident with a leaking ceiling one night with heavy rain. But, we got a bottle of wine as a compensation.
friendly staffs , coffee and tea are provided 24hours
Spent two days in Rome. Raffaello is in a good central location. The staff were excellent and very friendly. Rooms clean and secure. Would gladly stay there again.
location, staff, hotel.
Great location, helpful staff
Old single beds, well past their use by date and my friend got bitten by bed bugs! We didn't get the diagnosis till we had checked out otherwise we would have let management know.
Location, staff, cleanliness and comfort.
The water was not hot enough to take a bath.
Staff were very nice. I got an upgrade from single room to a double
We loved the character of the street and of the hotel. Kitchen staff at (a hearty) breakfast, desk staff, and Elena, the concierge, were always ready, helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet. AC worked well.
Our room, for all intents and purposes, didn't have a window. Window was on a shaft. The shower was a bit small, and the bidet blocked the toilet!
Location is good - on a quiet end of a street with lots of restaurants. Walking distance to train station and Colosseum. Family room good size with narrow twin beds and large king bed in separate rooms. Breakfast average with decent cappuccinos. More traditional style hotel than modern. Quiet at night.
The receptionist on staff had a snappy attitude but maybe I didn't understand her humor. Other staff very good. Lots of noise from the kitchen, which must have a window facing the courtyard that open into the rooms above. A little stuffy in the room (October).
The hotel was perfect for us close walk to everything. The staff was great breakfast good. It was nice after a long day of exploring Rome to come back and relax in our room. Home away from home.
All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast, too.
The price was good for Rome. It was close to train station. It was clean. The staff was great and the breakfast was a step up from other hotels we stayed at in Italy.
The location was a little farther out. There wasn't a printer that could be used for boarding passes. The only way to get something printed was to mail to staff and the airline system didn't allow emailing the check-in.
Great location easy walk to main station and Coliseum, but on a no through road so out of the door into a cobbled atmospheric mostly pedestrian street with lots of bars/restaurants. The staff were pleasant, the room very clean, breakfast good etc
Central Rome is never going to be quiet so didn't sleep very well. Limited facilities in hotel but it didn't matter there were lots of places to eat nearby. Guide to TV channels would be helpful; v difficult to find English news (but it was available)
Perfect location for our sightseeing, staff very helpful, super room, very quiet, good choice of breakfast, good restaurants on same road, close to metro
Having to come home!
Friendly & helpful staff Good selection for breakfast Nice rooms with a variety of pillows to choose from for your comfort. Very homely hotel. Nice area with many restaurants
Shower was a little small
1. Location 2. Breakfast staff 3. The concierge lady is simply amazing 4. Reception staff
1. Room decoration a bit too busy for my liking
The staff were super friendly and very helpful with information of places to see, local restaurants etc. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge variety of foods to choose from. Very close to majority of the sites and the train station. Excellent hotel!!
Breakfast was good
When the mean lady yelled at me on the phone when asking about a lost shoe
Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Water wasn't hot enough.
