Really Nice Staff. Great Location (easy walking distance from Termini Station & Colosseum). Good Breakfast.
Tiny Shower (and I'm not a big person).
Lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Great location for a weekend exploring Rome.
Wifi code system which was a bit of a pain.
Excellent breakfast, kind attention in the front desk, perfect location and safe place (close to Termini, walking distance to the Roman Forum and Colosseum), Rome at its best. Room is actually small but comfortable with a good-complete bathroom. If I would ever go back to Rome I will definitely look fo Rafaello
Room is quite small for a long stay
The cleanliness the service and the decor of the hotel and the rooms,
Not all the tecepti
Good location, friendly helpful staff, everywhere very clean and tidy, good breakfast, comfy bed, free wifi, air-con in the room,
Maybe a bar for one last peroni before bed!
CLEAN, VERY WELL LOCATED FOR WALKING, SMALL AND COZY, GOOD AIR CONDITIONING, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE MAIN TRAIN STATION, and other sights, WELCOMING STUFF.
The walls have no insulation thus you hear very clearly talking voices from the next door room, you disturb them and they disturb you. I was not able to find an English speaking channel to watch on T.V.
Very central, friendly staff, good breakfast
Tiny, tiny room. Noisy due to some kind of generator operating continuously, difficult to sleep with noise. They should not rent this room- room no. 116.
Staff was so friendly! The rooms were well maintained - starched sheets!
Water in shower was not as hot as we like it.
It was the 2nd time back and won't be the last. Hotel Raffaello has everything we look for though I would suggest it may be more convenient to have tea and coffee making facility in room rather than going downstairs for free coffee/ tea making and taking it back to the room. This is not a fault as all hotels in Italy (on tour) seem to not have in room tea/coffee facility. Most International travellers look for that coffee/tea on awakening. For us Hotel Raffaello is a gr8 convenient, comfortable, welcoming place to be Thanks to all the staff, see you in 2 years.
Absolutely not a thing we didn't like.
Everything about the hotel met our requirements. The service was outstanding and the assistance provided by Elena the conceirge was incredible. Elena made our stay extra special as she helped us find restaurants and sites that were off the beaten track and things that Romans would enjoy! We had a wonderful time and would readily recommend this hotel to other travellers.
The location of the hotel is very close to Termini train station but not close to other main points. Colosseum is about 1 km which takes 15 minutes by walk. The nearest public transport centers are Termini and Cavour metro station (I have to say that Rome is a very hard city to get around since public transportation is really very bad). The staff of the hotel is helpful and kind. The room is big and clean.
The breakfast is good enough but the breakfast room is always very crowded in most days I have to wait for empty table.
location was great, staff was friendly, the rooms were nice, everything was wonderful
The staff were friendly and helpful and arrange collection from the airport using a trusted taxi (we left a bag in it and it was return within an hour). The hotel was clean and comfortable and provided a good breakfast.
The hotel is over five floors and the lift is small (can take 3 people) so someone needs to take the steps if there are four of you - that said the kids enjoed racing the lift!
The staff were very welcoming and were eager to share their tips and tricks with us. By the time our trip was over, we were sad to leave our new found friends.
Our room was large with a balcony facing the street (though in my opinion it is unusual and most rooms without balconies facing the street). Most receptionists were very nice. The woman who helps in planning trips was great - her advice were most helpful and saved us a lot of time and money. The breakfast was good and the staff who served us was excellent.
The hotel is located close to the main train/bus terminal, but not so close to the center of town (though we didn't mind the walk). there might be travelers who will find this problematic.
We found it handy to be able to walk from the train station to the hotel, and from the hotel to the Colosseum. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast included good protein options.
When we first arrived, I was told by the front desk that I was asking too many questions. He did, however, deign to offer his advice for dinner, which turned out to be the worst meal we had in Italy. With another staff member, I was told that she was doing me a "big favor" by changing the time for a car to arrive to take us to the airport. Finally, a third staff member wouldn't directly print out (from the airline's web site) our boarding passes, even though the printer at the public computer was broken. So our recommendation of "yes" to other travelers is qualified by these experiences. Caveat emptor.
Location was good and the staff were very helpful. Turn left out of the hotel and there was a street of very good bars and restaurants at reasonable prices (For Rome)
Concierge very knowledgable. Walking distance to everywhere in Rome.
very helpful front desk..clean rooms...
Very good location between Termini station and Colloseum, good service both from receptionists and at breakfast.
We loved the charm and character of the hotel. As well As it's location to all the major sights worth seeing.nothing was more then a 12 minute walk away , including the subway and the train station.the staff was amazing with helping us get to where we wanted to.
The buildings finishing touches inside the hotel room could be a bit nicer . Ie. loose tiles in the bathroom and cracks in the crown modelling .but those are just minor I suppose . I wish the breakfast look more appealing. And I couldn't stand that our room didn't have a shower .
The location - close to the Coloseum and stop for Hop on Hop off bus.
We loved the garden terrace, and the location was wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our visit to the rooftop bar of your sister hotel
The staff were very friendly, particularly Elena who spent time with us explaining how to skip the queues at the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Her advice was spot on and we did not have to queue at all. The two ladies serving breakfast each day were also very friendly.
There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.
