The price, very friendly staff. Took slightly longer than expected to get into Rome from the hotel, transport on an evening is limited to buses from the metro station and they run until 2300. If you want to stay out in Rome for an evening you will have to get a taxi back to the hotel as the metro shuts at 2100 (15- 10 euros) (and if you can find a taxi).

The hotel excceded my expectations overall, but pay attention that are 2 type of rooms: refurbished and nonrefurbished. It is a huge diiference between them. The location is not central, there are 3-4 bus station to the closest metro station, during week-end the bus arrived arround at each one hour. Recomended for the stuff, room (only refurbisched ones), breakfast, terrace, fittness centre. Not highly recommended for location. In case you decided for this hotel, the type of the room requested must be refurbished one.

Attention: not stay at this hotel !!!!!!! (Rate: 0 zero) non presso questo hotel. Only attendant Roberto deserves some good note. Too bad! The photos of the site do not match the truth. They should have hired a good photographer, but the reality is different. Room with broken furniture, mold in the bathroom, iron rust in parts of the balcony, grime on the headboard that fell duramte night. My brother made the booking for me and when I talked about the conditions of the site sent me the photos of the site and were other than reality. I was at the same time talk to the employee who has been attentive to the Internet offering (which is expensive and it works very badly) and doing what he could, told me that some rooms are retired (in the booking photo) tried to show another room but bad as well. In the morning I saw a room on the floor for breakfast and even the new ones are bad. There are many other options of places more honest. This is a zero! Manager does not work on weekends!

This is an old hotel that has one (or two?) floors of renovated rooms. The renovated rooms are nice, furnishings very modern, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. The Italians (not just at this hotel) are kind of quirky in some ways (they need to register everything, take your passport, leave your room key at reception when you leave, etc. - stuff out of a cold war movie), but the staff in this hotel was very pleasant. Hotel is aprox. 15-20 min. Out of city center (a 15-17 euro taxi ride) and slightly closer to the Vatica (about an 8-10 euro taxi ride). There is a Carrefour about 10 min. Walk from the hotel, but not much in terms of public transport. There is nothing to do around this hotel, but even if you add in the costs of taxi trips, the rates are very good in comparison to Rome city hotels. The breakfast was just ok (good pastries and some average cold cuts), but you can find so many goodies in the center that it doesn't really matter.

The staff was very personable and the gym access was outstanding. Our room was in very poor condition. The shower had a crack in the floor; there was a leaky pipe in the bathroom and when informed about it the staff said there was nothing they could do.

The staff were excellent and extremely helpful, the room was clean, good value for money, free access to the Fitness First gym next door. Breakfast: instead of the canned fruit, an option of fresh fruit, tomatoes and cucumber would have been much nicer and healthier

Very friendly and helpful staffs, well trained, careful to details. Changed staffs give notes each other, so your questions are not "forgotten" with the next change of front desk manager. It is not 4 star hotel at all ! It is 3 star hotel - outdated and not fresh in rooms, in the front line of very noisy big street (huge traffic untill midnight). Some details in rooms are broken (lamps, furnuture), paining damaged in many spots and is not simply renovated. In the bath of my room the electric line to the lamp (over the mirror) was not closed by security plastic cover. Real distance to the historic center is not 3 km as it was written in your site, but about 5 km (if we take not direct line on the map via houses, but real way on the streets - for walk or driving). There is no bath like in normal 4 star hotel , but only a poor quality very small shower - outdated and not convenient...typical 3 star hotel "cost saving feature".

The staff, which i didn't interact much with. The room we were offered was really basic and run down. All the furniture was from the 90s if not 80s. The conditioner didn't work and was leaking right on the floor... Location is somewhat good if yoy are driving, but for this momey we stayed in much much better hotels with breakfast included. avoid!

The Hotel Clerk spoke excellent English. He directed us to the metro bus system right across the street. The room was very clean and the continental breakfast was good. We felt we could have gotten better directions when going somewhere in Rome. Everything is measured using the metric system in which Americans are not familiar with !

The location is good, they have a beautiful view on the 5th floor The condition of the room is not good, and I have booked to single room for 65 euro, by the time i was there, they didnt give me a single room, instead a double room. Normally, the hotel will charge original price, because it's their fault, they didnt have enough room. Instead, they charge me for 85 euro for that dobule room. The breakfast is also not good, they habe a broken juice machine, which gives you watery juice

The staff were very helpful, especially the guy on nights who treated men to a drink on my last night! The room was kept immaculately clean but the staff were very discreet. Although the hotel is a fair way out of town, you can catch a bus from just across the road right to Vatican City or to a subway station on a line into Rome city center. All in all, I found the Raganelli extremely good value for money. I found the shower and air conditioning/heating a bit hard to fathom but no great problem.

Alessandro at the reception was exceptionally kind with us, great guy. Free access to the nearby fitness center is included (even if we didn't use it). Free parking (highly appreciated). Cheap rates (main reason we chose it). Doesn't really deserve 4 stars (yet). The rooms which haven't been renewed are quite uncomfortable: central heating didn't work (gotta use the air conditioning), windows don't isolate from noise and cold, furniture is old, bathroom is in a bad condition. Renewed rooms looked way better (unfortunately ours wasn't one of them, so we couldn't verify), so things are probably improving. WiFi access is not included (and pretty expensive) and the signal is always weak.

Early breakfast included. Apparently a gym and sauna free for customers, but I didn't have a chance to test it. I paid €20 to have wifi for the duration of my stay, but the reception in my top floor room was poor, always at one or two bars and sometimes dropping completely. It's probably fine in the lower floors.

“This is a lovely hotel. The room was spotless and quite large. The foyer and reception area is very nice also the bar and restaurant. “The staff were just amazing! Juliano in the internet centre, Sidy in the supermarket on site, the shuttle driver, and the receptionist! All so friendly and helpful.
