He is a charming, efficient and patient man who managed the patio, bar and small diner singlehanded and extremely competently. The front desk ladies are also commended. Thank you.
Parking on premises
- Bed lumpy and hard. Pillows thin - Staff not very friendly - hotel in a restricted driving zone. Signs not clear if hotel guests can enter or not. I had to call the hotel girl instructions. I was given an alternate address to enter the hotel. Took me 20 min I find if with a navigator
balconi was good. breackfast was good.
bed wasn't good. Shower wasn't good
Restaurant and bar ... nice and delicius
Rooms were not in best conditions (bathroom). Bed ok.
The room was big and the location was quiet. We also enjoyed the fact that there was a happy hour to relax after sightseeing. The staff were very nice.
The hotel décor was a bit cold and modern and we were expecting something with more character and charm. However, it was comfortable.
Size of the room. Courtyard location On site parking
DelisFoodThE Staff Was Great And Very Friendly. RooM Was Good And Food Was Excellent.
ThemTheNoise FromMen Working On Street. Could Here It From My Room
Breakfast was good.
My room was not in the main building but in the secondary one. It had dirty walls, the bathroom was also dirty, the TV was not working, the internet is not working either (wireless signal was too weak).
Well the 4 star for this hotel is quite exaggerated of course- in Germany for example you would hardly dive even a 3 star for this hotel. Rooms are comfortable though we had the one with a small kitchen which was quite helpful in saving money. The location is a bit far from the main attractions around 25 minutes walking. The price is a bit expensive for what you get but well this is Florence and it is really difficult to find good hotel prices. The total price when we did the booking did not include the city tax which was 4 eur per person per night- quite high because its a 4 star hotel as we were explained- so take it into consideration when booking. The breakfast was ok, but could be better given the money we paid- we stayed there for four days and the variety didnt change at all- and the staff at the restaurant was not efficient were not taking the used dishes from the table etc, so we were doing it all by ourselves- which is awkward for a 4 star hotel. There is a small wine shop at the corner but no supermarket around that we could find so you need to do shopping at the center and then walk for around 25 minutes. The walls in the hotel are not good isolated and we could hear "intimate" voices of a couple all evening and night which was a bit awkward :) The rest was ok.
the location was a bit far for walking after a tiresome day.
old poor furniture in the room no sound isolation
The hotel is nicely located not far from the city center. The breakfast is included and is quite good.
Well, if you take the chipest room you won't leave in the palazzo but in the building in front: the room is OK, but it's definetely no palazzo. You will hear everything what's going on in your neighbor rooms and in the stone paved court yard. So if you have limited budget and do not stay in any of more luxury rooms of this palazzo, i would advise you to look for something different (smaller, more athentic). Parking is 21 EUR extra.
The location was good, a leasurely 15 min walk from the centre along a couple of nice old streets. A taxi from the railway station was less than 10 euros. The breakfast was adequate.
A bit too expensive for what you get but this is Florence.
The staff at reception were very friendly. The room was a good size.
It was difficult to drive into the street where the hotel was due to traffic restrictions. Eventually we spoke to a policeman who told us to drive up the road anyway as the hotel would make sure we didn't get a ticket. It would have been good to have been told about this before we left!
Art works paintings and scriptures on display everywhere. Friendly staff. Nice clean big room and good breakfast.
location, fair breakfast
wi-fi was not so good in the rooms - skype and viber did not work in the rooms, only in the lobby - but also not always
Location - 10-15 min walk to the center but in a very quiet area (but for some reasons it can be observed as disadvantage, i.e. no place to go in the evening, especially if you arrive late). A good choice for breakfast. Large room and bathroom
Very good location close to the train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is very nice and close to the major museums in the city. Even if you come by car there is a place to park even they charge seperate for parking. The breakfast was a bit basic but good. The rooms are very nice.
Excellent room, with space, excellent buffet for breakfast, excellent value for money
The Courtyard . The Staff at the Reception desk. Helpful, courteous , informative, although one ,an Indian, seemed a bit overbearing , although he did call someone to Fix electricity problem in my room. Wifi in room! Parking!. A necessity in Florence Breakfast
Although location is in center of Florence . It's not exactly downtown . This is not ideal for family with children, or single lady travel . The neighborhood isn't that bad but well, a bit neglected . At night there are no people around as its manly a resident area. The female staff at the breakfast room have an attitude problem. I am black. As I waited for my turn at getting coffee at the bar, I was totally ignored by the female waitress that passed even when I attempted to draw her attention, while she served others, she was a blond ,in her twenties. The male waitress, all Italian , don't have that bad attitude. They served me as they served others. What is the use of a beautiful waitress whe does not wait on others? Is she only part of the salotto's arredamento ?
Professional service. Excellent breakfast. Spacious clean room. Good restaurants nearby. Short walk (10 mins) to center of town.
Very minor gripe : shower is fixed to wall, not flexible.
Location, was too far away from city centre, said 10 min walk and was 15 to 20 mins
