Hotel Residence San Sano  

Manageress generally very helpful Food at dinner of good quality, but a bit pricey Swimming pool and surround kept clean and tidy Room cleaned daily to high standard

Manageress did not appear to have the authority to resolve problems as they arose. Owner interfering, hostile, rude, and obstructive when complaints were made to the manageress. Constant very loud, intrusive, noise nuisance on weekdays from heavy plant excavating the foundations of a new building 80 meters away, which made staying a the the hotel very unpleasant. Neither the website of booking.co. nor that of the San Sano hotel had posted advance warning of this. Staff at the hotel did not feel that it was important. The hotel's web page advertised the provision of a safe in the bedroom, but this was not provided for two days, and not until booking.com had intervened. Staff said that safes were not needed, as 'nothing had ever gone missing in the past'. Breakfast were generally sparse, in particular that on the morning of Sunday October 2nd (when an early breakfast was requested for 7 a.m.). Breakfast was generally disorganised, with staff observed to be talking to each other rather than making sure that food and drink were provided, and replenished, without prompting.

I really like the welcome from the couple owners, Maurizio and Luccia and I loved the setting in a small village in the middle of vineyards and olive trees plantations with great scenary on Chianti region hills. It was very quite place and the food (we had all our dinners there but 1) was simple but excellent. Besides, the hotel is close to many interesting tourims spots (e.g. : only 25 km from the magnificent Siena town).

El servicio personalizado y muy amable. Quedamos encantados con la comida, las instalaciones el paisaje y la gente. éS un lugar ideal tanto para ir en familia como en pareja. Además está muy bien ubicado con siena y florencia bastante cerca.

Bellezza meravigliosa del Borgo, e del panorama circostante, accoglienza molto simpatica e dinamica.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Het eten was er erg goed. De kamer was schoon en netjes. Doordat dit hotel op een rustige locatie staat in een prachtige omgeving kan men hier goed ontspannen.

Het hotel ligt vrij ver van hoofdwegen vandaan. Hierdoor moet men erg lang door de bergen rijden met haarspeldbochten heuvel op en af voordat men op een hoofdweg en snelwegen terecht komt.

Accueil sympathique et chaleureux. Hôtel très agréable qui a beaucoup de charme et de caractère. On s'y sent bien. Nous recommandons au petit déjeuner le capuccino et le café expresso.

Nous n'avons pas trouvé les tarifs des boissons mini-bar dans la chambre.
