Hotel La Residenza  

Good price to value ratio. Only few minutes from Metro.

The hotel is easily reached by car or by metro. It's not far away from high way exit, and only 5min talk to Affori Centro station on m3, which connects with Duomo and train station. There are plenty of free parking lots nearby. The breakfast is good. We usually can feed us well before starting our trip everyday.

Very good overall. No surprises. Recommend without reservation. Location very good but requires about a 10 min. Walk to subway.

I liked the fact that they people in the hotel have provided everything a person needs in order to feel confortable. There is nothing in the room that was missing. Also, the breakfast was particularly good, there were some items in Hotel La Residenza which are typically not served in other hotels. Staff at the reception were exceptionally helpful with recommendations about the best places to eat and drink. One lady at the reception named Sylvia spent 15 minutes with us explaining where to go. Before arriving at the hotel the same lady have sent us 2 emails with clarifications about the location of the hotel.Great stay!

The fact that there is no way to reach the centre apart from the metro or eventually bus. People have to pay and use the metro, they cannot walk from the hotel to the centre but it is just several stops from Duomo and it is not necessary to change the line.It is not too far.

The Hotel was a bargain compared to similar Hotels in Milan, Initially I was slightly mad as the map in the hotel room said a short walk to the subway station but after 15/20 mins of walking I was getting angry! The next day I decided to walk in the opposite direction and found there to be one 5 mins away! The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were pleasant and very clean - Was a little disappointed in The Wifi as the connection is very weak and took a lifetime to load any pages - but overall I would stay in this hotel again on my trip back to Milan 4 out of 5 for me!

The Restaurant and breakfast were excellent

In a run down location Room was small I think Wi Fi should be free in all Hotels

location - close to metro and park room quality and cleaning prices for lunch and dinner quite acceptable

The location is very good, 5 minutes walk from subway Affori Centro. Very friendly staff, helps with the maps and finds every location. The rooms are a little bit small, but clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for tourists.

The only minus was the smell of the cigarettes in the room, although we have asked for the non smoking room.

Roberto the Maitre - Charming and sincere. Speaks impeccable English and he made our stay a very, very pleasant one. Thank you, Roberto - from guests who are now considered 'friends'.

Close to underground metro station (7 minutes walk + 10 minutes train will get you to city center).

Smoke smell in the "non-smoking" room, poor breakfast, very tiny garage. Restaurant offers organic food for dinner, however it is mostly chicken. Noise in the corridor can be heard in the room starting from 6 am.

Nice garden restaurant and god breakfast (big choice of dietetic products, even for celiaks). Good place - near to the metro station.

The staff wasn´t too helpful. Room very small and smelly, the fridge/bar was locked and we had to pay 5 euros to get in (and have simple drinks). Pretends being ecologic but in fact this ecologic way of being means laziness and modesty ("we safe nature" means "we don´t want to clean up your room often" etc). Loud music in the corridors.

Very kind and pleasant staff. BIO products are very tasty. 5-7 min of walking to the metro station.
