In the lively Chiaia neighborhood, Hotel Majestic is in the most exclusive shopping district in Naples. All rooms have air conditioning and satellite TV.
Score from 908 reviews Very good
The Royal Continental is right on Naples' seafront promenade, in a quiet neighborhood. It features a stunning rooftop pool, with panoramic views out over the Bay of Naples and Castel dell'Ovo.
Score from 1875 reviews Very good
Located on the lively promenade of Naples, Relais sul Mare offers design en suite rooms overlooking the Gulf of Naples and featuring sensory showers. Access city bikes and WiFi are free.

The Hotel Principe Napolit'amo has a great location right in the heart of Naples along the Via Toledo pedestrian boulevard.
Score from 534 reviews Good
The localization is perfect, when you go out you can see the majestic Vesuvio and the sea! Brekfasts are like in whole Italia-> continental, but for me is perftect! I recommend it for all!
Location cleanliness plenty hot water
Heating makes awful noise, you can not sleep on it. (when I arrived, it was very cold day!!)
The positioning of the hotel was excellent for getting around the main attractions and it is in the nicer part of naples
A bit noisy
Good hotel, Friendly Staff very clean and tidy. Very helpful and reasonable language of English spoken
Room was on the inside and over looked an accommodation block and was right on top of aircondition
Fantastic location and comfy beds. Reasonably priced.
Room was on the small side and it was really difficult to get the water temperature right in the shower
The only real negative point for me was the breakfast, which I personally found too limited.
Location very good, staff friendly, breakfast good.
Bed a bit low.
Very noisy, traffic and renovations combined.
It was very near the Port Staff where very accommodating, gave us lots of hot water so that we could make tea. Good wifi, everything accessible within walking distance. Enjoyed pizza staff made good recommendations on eating out places. Antonio de Antonio highly recommended.
No lifts, breakfast was not good, only ate once, sandwich maker was not working properly. Napoli itself has lots of grafitti, it's a shame otherwise it us a nice Italian City.
Great location on the bayside with selection of restaurants and bars
Having paid extra for a sea view (which turns out was a lateral view anyway), I was very disappointed that the window/balcony view was blocked by builders scaffolding immediately outside. We should have been told in advance.
We stayed two nights in Naples at Hotel Rex. Located in a nice area in Naples. The room was clean. High ceiling. Staffs were helpful. Long walk to the city center about 35mins. Or taxi to the train station for 13euro. Hotel can arrange the taxi pick up from the NAP airport for 27euro. Nearby Molo Beverello port.
Hotel is in the Santa Lucia district of Naples which is an upscale neighbourhood right by the water. Clean, beautiful and lovely for walks in the evening. Hotel was spotlessly clean and very quiet even at night.
Room was basic and had a very small shower with a plastic bi-fold door. Air conditioning stopped working and took two days to fix. Breakfast was also basic and they ran out of items quite quickly.
Location by the ocean, restaurants and in quiet street.
The airco kept turning itself off and on with such noise that it kept waking us up. We had to turn it off to sleep, but the street was (even though quiet for Naples) still too noisy to sleep with window open. The water in the shower kept going cold and then scolding hot again, so not very comfortable.
The hotel is generously staffed so that there is always somebody available to respond to guests' needs and desires. It is removed from the city centre, an advantage if one is looking for tranquility and proximity to the Bay of Naples. There is a bus stop a short distance from the hotel and with the help of the free Gira Napoli for Android smartphones it is possible easily to reach all destinations in Naples by public transit.
The automatic coffee machine seemed to be a mystery to all guests, including me.
It is just on the cost. Surrounding region of the hotel was safe. The hotel is very near the restorants and cafes. Personnel was helpful and kind The hotel is such that generally families stay.
Breakfast was poor.
Just yards from the Bay of Naples. Extremely helpful & friendly staff. Very thorough cleaning of the rooms. Left cases on last day & was able to use a room to change before getting flight home.
everything: staff, room, breakfast, location
friendly and helpful staff, rooms, location. Perfect place to stay in Naples close to most things worth seeing. Also a lovely building, very much enjoyed everything about Naples, it is a must see while in Italy
nothing to fault
Location and price Towels replaced daily without requesting Good local restaurants recommended by reception staff. Nice rooms for the money and comfortable beds. An interestingly individual small hotel.
Air con noisy and not efficient. Poor coffee and no fruit at breakfast. Toiletries( although promised in publicity) very minimal and not automatically replenished.
Very good value good location, some staff excellent alway trying to help, some staff less helpful but ok do not let that put you off
Not much really, breakfast poor, and some things ran out but no problem
Good location. In the cleaner part of town. Buffet breakfast was adequate & much better than other 3 star hotels we stayed I during our visit to Italy.
Local restaurants rather poor - two restaurants served awful pizzas - in the home of the pizza? very disappointing. Naples is litter strewn and with chaotic traffic.
The hotel is generously staffed and is able to respond promptly to all requests and needs. The location is removed from the historical centre of Naples. That is an advantage for those seeking tranquility. The decor is attractive in an intentionally subdued way. Those desiring a more central location and more vibrant decor should stay at the chain's Hotel Correra 241, where I spent one night and to which I would also give a very high rating.
Given the poor quality of public transit in Naples, the location of the hotel was initially a problem. But then I discovered the free Gira Napoli for my Android mobile phone and thereafter I could easily reach any destination in Naples from the hotel by public transit.
I picked this hotel for the location as I wanted to be near the water and out of the hustle bustle of Naples. BUT that meant that we had a long trek to whatever sightseeing that we wanted to do. The room itself was typically small, but the public space was large and welcoming. Reception handled all our requests without a problem. Breakfast was very good. We had a problem with the air conditioner, but staff tried diligently to get it working… My cousin’s wallet was stolen on a bus and the hotel staff was very sympathetic and helpful.
There was an air traffice controllers strike the day of my travel to Naples. I emailed the hotel to let them know I would be arriving later than expected and to let my cousin (who was arriving earlier) know, so she would not be worried. Well, she was worried. No one gave her the message.
