Central location. 24 hour desk. Large room. Hotel is very run down and very depressing. Renovations are going on. No method to control the heat - either very hot or very cold in room. Storage heater never came on - nowhere to dry wet shoes. Very noisy due to traffic and single glazed windows. Shutters kept closed so no daylight. My son woke one morning with dust/plaster particles on his face which fell from the ceiling. Sofa bed very uncomfortable. No tea/coffee facility. It is a very old hotel that has not been decorated in approx 30 years and is badly in need of modernisation. Guest facilities are very poor in comparision with even 3star hotels in Ireland. A bit of a shock really. Unfortunately we had booked for 5 nights but we only slept there at night and did not spend time in it

i think the staff of this hotel can give lessons about customer care. i have booked a room from the old building part ( there are 2 building next to each other the old & new building. i don't recommend the rooms in theold building) and several things went wrong. For example the bathroom and bed was clean but the walls and floorings were awful, the air conditioing and safe systems were very old. Finally when i asked for the keys for the safe and they couldnt find it. After all these bad experiences they offered me a new room at the new part ofthe building and charged we the same price. The rooms were almost twice expensive but it didnt cost me a penny more than the price i made reservations for.if they havent changed my room i was certainly going to change my hotel the next day. They have turned my bad experience to a wonderful one. The staff was always polite and helpful. The location is awesome only a minute walk away from the collosseo, and they a nice breakfast at the terrace plus a nice view. The rooms in the old building.

not centered, but wonderful location. Etro cosmetics in room There are 2 parts of the hotel: old and new one. Check twice that your room will be in the new part. That's very important!!! The breakfast is classical Italian - coffee and some pastry, but it's ok

The location. It was amazing. Views of Old rome from my room, and the colleseum was seconds away! The hotel is still under construction so the room was bare, and there was a huge hole in my ceiling. But the view was pretty. Hotel decor was very modern. Great little eateries right out front.

Location is very good - two minutes to Colosseum, two minutes to via del Corso, view on the Trojan column. Very strange and unfriendly design of the new block of the hotel and shabby interior of the old block. Small single room.

Hotel staff was very helpful and understanding. Excellent! Very close to the colosseum. Great location. There are two sides to this hotel. One side (the new side) is very contemporary and the the other is the original hotel which is more of the "classical" room designed. When booking this hotel, we thought we were getting the classic rooms but got the contemporary rooms which is not my style. But the classic side was very run down in great need of repairs etc.

Amazing hotel for the money. The staff was beyond helpful! Everything that was asked of them or requested was very quickly answered or given. Even when we asked if there was a place to print our boarding passes for the next day, they let us come behind the counter and check in and print our boarding passes for free. Great hotel with amazing views and staff!

The location was great, we stayed in the new part of the hotel wich was very modern. Luxurious feeling, enough space and both shower an bath tub (spiral staircase to a loft with bath tub). The breakfast on the terrace was great, good service (must be great in the summer). It was still unfinished because of the renovation.

Farebbero meglio a chiuderla e ristrutturarla in fretta. Non si può venderla per un 4 stelle!!

“Staff were excellent and brilliant in advising what to go and see around Rome. Breakfast was superb, with a selection of almost everything you could wish for including fancy tarts. Bed was huge and extremely comfortable and did not hear anything outside the room at all despite being on the road. Would, without question, recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome - a great location and staff that could not be more helpful.” Shirley, Worcester |
