Hotel Miramare reflects itself on the Ionian Sea (one of the cleanest in Italy and awarded for this with "Bandiera Blu" from the year 2001 until today). Ideal for sea vacation from April until the month of October. The hotel houses 36 well-equipped rooms tastefully decorated with pastel colours, as well as 9 suites to provide guests with a refined yet relaxing atmosphere. All the suites boast a spacious terrace with a sea view, while the others feature a small balcony with a lateral view.

Area information

Marina di Gioiosa Jonica is located 100 km from Reggio Calabria and 70 km from Catanzaro. The village is young and well organised with spacious roads and shops. However the sea is the main attraction, awarded with a Blue Flag every year from 2001 to 2005 for the cleanliness of the sea water. The climate is mild, favouring swimming from April to October with plenty of heliotherapy in the sun. The sights include a Roman theatre and the 16th century Torre Galea and 7th century Torre Spina towers.
