the meetings rooms and patio on the ground floor was a fantastic meeting spaces. Especially in the cold of winter no one wants to be limitted to just thier hotel room. The location I could not have asked for better simply 200metres from world heritage listed sites amazing to be able to stroll the florence knowing that your hotel is at the centre of everything and a short walking distance from central train station. The bathroom was a great size especially the bath tub one of the best I have seen in Europe. Also the nativity tribute on the ground floor more than 20 nativity displays with fountains, lighting and automated action. Also a video tribute to christimas from all around the world. I have never seen it done like that before. I give the hotel full credit for considering its guests and the festive season and bringing us in close proximity to the amazing craft talents of the local community.
The decor in the hotel room is oh so 1970-80s. Whilst I love the hisotry of the builidng being an old covenvent I can see the effort and commitment to bring the premises past into the present guests needs on the ground floor but seriously the soft furnishings - artwork, bedspread and curtains in hotel rooms just makes the space feel like a three star motel not a four star hotel. But worst of all its so easy to fix and upgade it. these simple changes would give the place the wow factor.

paid wi-fi? really? haven't paid in 5+ years!
Great hotel and staff. I enjoyed my stay there. Easy access to the wonders of Florence.
It's clean. Breakfast is ok.
My room (jr suite) was extremely small and the bathroom was the smallest ever. The online images of the room were misleading in this respect.
1、Good location. 2、A warm place.
1、Good location, about 5 minutes from the railway station. 2、The reception is very kind.
The bath room is a lit bit small.
Enormous room, comfortable, really good breakfast, close to train station and everything.
Wifi was not free.
Top location, very excellent staff and great amenities
Location really good. Room was great. Good size and also lounge area. Breakfast really lovely too.
Room too warm, was unable to cool it down. Wi fi we had to pay for and that went down.
Good points: - Excellent staff at Benedicta restaurant, specially Andrea. The food is awsome and the service at breakfast and dinner is very good. - Central location.
- Even being 14º outside, the room was too hot! We had to leave the windows open during the day to be able to sleep at night!
Good location, breakfast, clean room
Wi-fi $5 for 24 hours, noisy corridors
-friendly staffs -great location -great decoration in Firenzi style
Had a suite, just lovely, plenty of room for three. Staff was helpful and professional.
Only complaint......loud housekeeping staff in the hallway. Staff friendly, efficient and kind. We especially enjoyed the courtyard for dinner, but breakfast also excellent.
Location quite good.
Hotel Rivoli was all we wanted for our visit to Florence. It is well located near the railway station and only a 10 minute walk into centre ville. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb. Thank you HR.
The location was great. Easy walk from the train station. Close to all the sights and great restaurants. The breakfast was varied and plentiful.
The bed was too hard! The wi-fi - $5 euros for 24 hours - was very sporadic and slow.
Excellent hotel perfect location.
The room and shower-room were fairly spacious and comfortable, and always very clean. The location was very good, 10mins walk from the train/bus station and 15mins from the centre. The staff were polite and very helpful. The hotel had two interior courtyards and generally a pleasant character.
Our room had been recently renovated - mostly well done - but black/white/grey colour scheme was a bit stark and the lights a bit bright - this was not a major problem!
Really liked the staff especially Daniele of the front desk office
great location very near the train/ bus station and other attractions, staff are friendly
small elevator, paid wifi
Great location. Changed room as first allocated was a lovely newly renovated room but it was so small, changed to a huge room which was good. Nice hotel
Carpets in corridors very worn Didn't look like a 4 star walking around corridors, didn't like being charged for wifi as out of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy this was the only one that charged
Location and staff.
Time to redecorate! Interior finishes very dated.
All staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located close to all the main attractions and the main station. Nice and clean and almost victorian style furniture all over the hotel.
The lift could be improved and we had problems the first night with the air-conditioning system that was said at 27 so we had to open the windows which unfortunately invited the mosquitos to pay us a visit. Perhaps some mosquito spray in the rooms.
