Het Rivoli Hotel was ooit een Franciscaner klooster dat compleet is gerestaureerd en nog steeds klassieke plafonds en stenen bogen en pilaren heeft. De kamer was prima en lag aan de binnentuin. Dus erg rustig. Zeer comfortabel en prima bedden + airco. Heerlijk ontbijtbuffet en prima bediening. Ligging zeer centraal. Enige nadeel was de gehorigheid t.o.v. de andere kamers.

het leuke vonden wij de binnentuin waar je 's avonds ook kon eten en de lounges om evt. wat uit te rusten. niet leuk is natuurlijk de ligging pal aan de straat met ook een kleine lobby. Verder zou ik als opmerking willen maken dat ik (maar dat geldt voor bijna alle hotels in het buitenland) de keuze aan vers brood slecht vindt. zou graag wat meer bruin/volkoren et. brood willen zien.

Goede ligging in centrum naast de piazza santa maria novella. Netjes en schoon. Wij hadden zelfs een eigen terrasje met tafel en stoelen. Behulpzaam en beleefd personeel. Wat ouderwets klein TVtje op de kamer. Ontbijt niet zeer uitgebreid.

Its location, particularly being so close to the railway station, was ideal for me as I flew into Bologna. It was also very central and within walking distance to all areas. It was comfortable for a solo traveller also as you could sit in the garden/pool area and relax with a coffee or wine - there were also other very good areas for relaxation, drawing room and bar area. All in all excellent and I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location. 10 minuts till the centre of the city and near the main shopping streets. Very helpfull staff. Nice and clean room, very good breakfast. You can ask for a kettle and enjoy tea/coffee facilities in your room. Good 4 stars for reasonable price. I hadn't a standard hairdryer in a room (just a safe one in the bathroom), but after I ask for it, the staff found one and brought to my room.

The staff is very friendly, hotel was clean, very good location, 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and 2 min from the train station Santa Maria Novella. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Garage is a car nearby and costs 21 Euro per day.

The staff were helpful. No internet access except for a hefty fee, and the hotel computer was "broken". Rooms were small and not very clean. Only plus point was the location.

Spacious clean room, and relaxing facilities You had to pay in order to have access to the internet. Also, nobody informed us about the fact that there was a parking lot where you can leave your car and pay a very small amount of money. Instead they actually told us that our only choice were the parkings that charged you with 25 or at the best 21 euros per night.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. The room we had was really romantic, directly under the roof, even including a balcony. During the hot summer days the whirlpool was really refreshing. Breakfast and dinner was really good. They even offered Vino Spumante for breakfast. We paid 200 eur for 2 nights and it was really worth every single eur. Also it is close to the center and the train station.

Staff was excellent and very friendly. Hotel very clean with unique public places. Air conditioning in our room and some of the public areas had a hard time with the humidity. Our daughters room was fine.
