Service at the hotel was quite good. Our room was facing the square outside and it was quite noisy even with the windows closed. Noisy garbage cleaners in the morning (before 7 am) and broadcastings well into the night. |

Staff were really friendly and the receptionist lady, think her name was "Merta?" was extremely helpful and nice and had a smile on her face all the time :) and even offered to help us with the booking of some sight seeing but we didn't have the time to do. Actually all the staff were really polite and helpful at all times. And a very positive thing I would like to add about this hotel is its very central position, as it's very close to almost every thing, metro station, shopping streets...but still very quiet and not noisy at all. Breakfast was simple and good.. Nothing negative at all, all was great! |

The situation of the hotel was excellent, close to everything. Breakfast more than sufficient and fresh Superior double room was not as shown on booking.com web pictures. No four poster bed. |

This is a fantastic hotel with excellent service in particular Luigi the head waiter. The room was spacious and very well appointed and the breakfasts were superb. I would definately return to this hotel |

If you're visiting the Vatican, the location is unbeatable. The rooms were smaller as depicted on the website. |

The Hotel Roma was well placed to visit the main attractions of Florence. The en suite bathroom was a little small. |

The location of the hotel was ideal for a short city break. The room and en suite seemed to be recently refurbished and was very nicely done with a good shower in the en suite. |

Our stay was a rare combination of unhurried courtesy combined with quiet efficiency. The bedroom was on the dark side and the air conditioning was noisy. |

Stayed in room 416... they should not rent this room out as it is just above a bar and it was like I was sleeping inside the bar. The windows had zero insulation and it was absurdly loud. I would not have stayed at this hotel a second night. Usually not a complainer, but this was exceptional. It was a nice room, most comfortable bed we had in all of Italy (out of 5 hotels) and very clean. However, none of that matters if it is so loud in your room you cannot sleep even when wearing earplugs. Bar was going strong until 4am and trash pick up lasted until 6am so basically did not sleep that night. Also, shower door did not have caulking on it so water just ran into the bathroom. This was not a big deal though. |

The staff was most helpful in assisting us with museum reservations which enabled us to have more time to explore the area. We were also able to use the internet. The location was also perfect. (very close to the train station) Piazza Novella is a beautiful square housing one of the most famous churches in Florence. The complimentary breakfast was just average. |

38 degrees C and air conditioning out for 2 days. Had to cancel the last day They kept saying it would be fixed in an hour. Then electric went out for an afternoon. Only at this hotel not entire town. Staff did not seem to care. Poor breakfast. 4 star hotel with poor service and uncaring staff. Should be removed from Booking.com. Would never stay there again. Ruined the Florence holiday. |

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and spoke fluent english. I found them to be extra helpful to me because I forgot my credit card back home and didn't have enough euros to pay, but the receptionist allowed my bf to pay with his credit card over fax, she was extra nice and patient. The receptionist was considerate (knowing that I had been on a 16 hr flight) told me to go up to my (unpaid) room and not to worry that her and my bf would figure out the payment method which of course they did and according to my bf the payment went smoothly. I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and it was absolutely worth it, it is a very nice hotel, close to the train station and in a good area which made me happy given that I was traveling alone. I was told I would get free wi-fi but paid 5 euros in total for 48 hour access, which is not bad just didn't like that I was told it would be free |

Location is ideal for Florence. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Air conditioning and plumbing from other rooms were a bit noisy. Surcharge for wireless use. (I had just stayed at a much cheaper hotel in Florence where wireless was free.) |

Facility, location as well as hotel staff are perfect for this price. Only concern is that the road in front of the hotel is is subject to fine unless plate number of the car and entrance time is reported to the police through the hotel. |
