Hotel was centrally located so convenient to walk to restaurants/ bars in the evening and to walk to the Grand Square to people watch day and evening. Room and bathroom very clean, plentiful towels etc. Agreed to keep bags in luggage room next day for a few hours and was pleased to see this room kept locked. Breakfast was usual buffet style but plenty of everything and you can eat as much as you like. The buffet hostess kept everything freshly stocked up. receptionists spoke excellent english. Basically it was ok for an overnight stop such as we did but I would not want to stay there any longer than 1 night. The room decor was depressing - grey walls, grey furniture, grey flooring. Only colour was in the bedspreads and they were a dull green. No mini bar in room depsite heat. Cold water would have been welcome but air conditioned room so could have been worse. Kettle supplied and pretty crockery but no cutlery or milk to add to tea/ coffee. |

" It did exactly what it said on the tin " the only problem, if there was a problem was the 200 yard walk to the parking. |

1. Centrally located 2. Small but quite complete breakfast buffet (only fresh fruit lacks.) 1. It is obvious that the staff is totally not interested in their guests. 2. Rooms are definitely ready for renovation (walls should be repainted) 3. Price/Quality aspect is totally not in balance (high rate for poor quality) 4. The hotel is situated in a very noisy street full of hectic traffic passing by all day and night. 5. Bathroom shower is small and tiny you hardly can move in it. |

The hotel is in walking distance from the train station, in a central location, close to restaurants, waterfront, and the cultural activities. Our room was newly renovated, tastefully designed, reasonably sized with two comfortable beds large closet and small divan. Although it was only mid-May, the temperature was hot. And, the AC unit in our room did not work. Since we discovered the problem only after returning to our room late in the evening, we did not ask for a change in rooms. We slept with windows wide open. Fortunately, we had asked for a room facing the court yard, so it was not too loud, and there was a bit of a breeze. AC would have been better. |

Its location. Did not make clear that the proposed 'parking' was no different to existing car parks in the vicinity - also did not advise that parking charge was suspended on bank holiday and we could have parked and paid had we not found out that on that day, it was free. |

We stayed only two nights and have no major complaints. However we had the impression that the staff were basically unhappy and disinterested or distracted. Our reception was brisk. We felt the receptionist had more important things on his mind. On the second evening we witnessed another guest ask if the hotel could supply a a 'band aid'. She had cut her hand. She was told very briskly no. |

Nice, clean room with good sized bathroom. Excellent location of the hotel, very close to the station and the city centre. Staff at the reception was not very welcoming (expect one guy who was very friendly and helpful), but professional. We had a room towards a busy road and had to close the window because of the traffic noise (but with the window closed it was ok!). |

Notalot of positive things I can say about this Hotel. Only that the staff were polite and the Breakfast wasn't too bad. The room was dirty. Two beds were camp beds with spings poking out. Shower head was missing. Hotel situated on busy road, making loading and unloading car impossible! |
