Hotel Salò du Parc  

Although initial impressions of the hotel were disappointing (60s/70s style and badly needs a coat of paint on the outside), the spacious rooms with the fantastic view over pool and lake soon made up for that. The gardens were also immaculate.The spacious bar and outside public seating areas were very pleasant indeed and the location was excellent - a short stroll to restaurants and shops and right on the lake.The lady serving drinks and snacks during the day was excellent.Breakfast buffet was good.

Excellent location, good staff and value. I would definately recommend the hotel.The set dinner was excellent value plus the lunchtime snacks at the bar were good. There are free sunbeds provided by the hotel for a relaxing day by the lake..Although we originally booked for only two nights and then extended to three ,my main regret is that we did not stay longer. Salo is a beautiful resort without being overrun with other tourists, there is an excellent restaurant with covered lakeside seating within a few minutes walk of the hotel. It is adviseable to arrive early for this or expect to wait some time for a table as very popular.

You get the impession that the hotel is run on a shoestring. Carpets through stairs & corridors look tired, plus breakfasts have little choice, with no orange juice and rather spicy unsavoury scrambled egg on offer + no bacon, and a toaster that does not work properly. Strangely there were no drinking glasses whatsoever in the room despite having a minibar. Apparently these had to be requested from the bar...... how unusual.I addition, there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room although we have our own travel kettle and tea bags we were able to overcome this. Overall the hotel provided excellent value for money and a lovely lakeside location.I would definately stay ther again and recommend it to anyone.

A perfect location, right on the waterfront in the heart of the beautiful town of Salo.

Double rooms and triple rooms are on completely different floors so for 3 children difficult to be near parents. The hotel did in the end put an extra bed in a double for us, but it was a bit cramped.

location is excelent.view from the hotel for lago de garda is emazing.staff was very nice&helpful at all times.,

no laundry service.outside service was very expensive

The location was perfect adjacent to the lake with stunning views. Comfortable and spacious bedrooms with fully tiled marble throughout and air conditioned met our needs for a base to discover the region. Nice pool with plenty of loungers and access to swim in the lake.

The exterior of the hotel is not attractive, but once inside it met our requirements comfortably.

In gemütlicher ruhiger Lage mit Seeblick. Freundliches Personal und nahe Stadtzentrum.

Die Wireless verbindung war nicht wirklich gut. Aber in den Ferien kann man auch auf das Verzichten.

Die Lage war natürlich der Hammer. Die Seesicht aus dem Zimmer war bombastisch und ich meine, dass das allein hat schon 'ne Reise wert war. Die Nähe zur Seepromenade war auch sehr angenehm. In 2 Minuten war man praktisch mitten im Geschehen, super!! Das Zimmer war grosszügig und komfortabel. Der Balkon ebenfalls. Wir waren in einem 3-bett-Zimmer für 3 Erewachsene und das Platzangebot war richtig gut und geräumig. Das Zimmer war auch gut gesäubert, tadellos!

Das Hotel selber hat sicher schon bessere Tage gesehen. Ich finde es schade, die Infrastruktur und die Lage wären vorhanden, leider vermittelt die Aussenfassade des Hotels teils einen ungepflegen, um nicht zu sagen einen "verwahrlosten Eindruck". Mit ein wenig frischer Farbe und Liebe zum detail, könnte man viel rausholen. Schade auch, dass es im Bad nur ein Lavabo hatte. Zu wenig für 3 Personen. Der Fernseher dürfte auch grösser sein.

Wunderschöne Gartenanlage direkt am See und die Nähe zum Ortskern

Die gebuchte Halbpension haben wir storniert, da uns das Essen nicht so gut schmeckte

lage und preis leistung voll in ordnung, für italien. verhältnisse ein sehr gutes frühstücksbuffet

eine wirkliche katastrophe und für österreichische verhältnisse sicher nicht legal ist der seezugang ,den dieses hotel bietet . er besteht aus einer einzigen metalleiter, noch dazu ohne geländer. das ist echt lebensgefährlich und gehört sofort auf zeitgemäße variante adaptiert.

Sehr freundliches Personal, die Lage direkt am See und die Nähe zum Centrum. Der Zugang zum See sollte verbessert werden, ein Geländer an der Treppe würde schon helfen. Das Nachbarhaus macht durch Blumenschmuck und frische Farbe einen besseren Eindruck, muss aber nicht so sein.

La posizione sul lago con camera tripla vista lago;V° piano pero' senza ascensore (arriva al IV°);a 100 metri inizia il lungolago di Salo': un km e mezzo di passeggio elegante e ricco di negozi/ ristoranti/gelaterie..Rilassante , molto pulito;personale educato e disponibile , abituata a clientela straniera!Scomodo il posto auto a pagamento(10 euro /di')Primo soggiorno al lago con famiglia:ottimo! Numerose le possibilita' di escursione(MAI in auto a sirmione!!! Solo in BARCA!!!).Forse troppo una settimana...comunque ,molto positiva sia x me che per I miei familiari(figlio 15enne)

..Beh.. Cara la mezza pensione; caro e poco vario il menu',anche al bar per il mezzogiorno;buona la qualita' dei piatti;credo che sia pero' in linea con I prezzi locali!
