Excellent location on Grand Canal.

Little hard to find from the narrow streets, especially in first day. Consider taking water taxi from airport (while expensive) that puts you just in hotel pier.

Interesting Venetian decor and location. Courteous and helpful non-stuffy staff.

Slightly difficult acces from vaporetto with luggage.

The location is great, rooms are new amd clean, breakfast is awesome. the view from deck and balcony is priceless.

The location (very close to San Sate vaporetto Stop) and also close to Rialto (for food options), Santa Lucia train station and also my Room. I took a luxury double room overlooking Grand Canal and it was truly an awesome experience!. Watching the movements, people, traffic even from my room was amazing. The interiors were tastefully decorated in 18th C venetian style, which puts you right into the falvour of Venice. I couldn't have asked for more. I should definitely compliment the hotel staff- very friendly and welcoming. Overall a hotel I can recommend. Being away (but easily reachable) from the Major Tourist hotspots like Rialto and San Marco, one can actually enjoy the venetian canals in a truly peaceful ambience

Breakfast room becomes extremely crowded due to its size. It is rather Long and narrow, so it can very tricky to grab a seat and get through to things during busy breakfast time (08:30 to 09:30). go earlier for a peaceful breakfast!

Had a fantastic nights stay in this hotel as my room was upraded to a much larger room overlooking the Grande canal. Fantastic breakfast, very helpful staff, awesome room & spectacular view!

Booking made as a Xmas present but the hotel refused to take payment off the card used to reserve so we had to pay ourselves. Also booking was based on the price stated at time of booking however actual price payed has now increased significently due to exchange rate.

The location is very good, the breakfast is good! The reception is very nice, I ordered a single room but provided a double room.

The double room maybe too small for two person! Though provided with a double room, I finally choose the single room.

Very cost effective! Nearly four star!

Beautiful setting of the room, size is large and comfortable.

Well situated hotel in a relatively quiet location, even though it has views over the Grand Canal. Good breakfasts and the staff are friendly, helpful and informed. I'd certainly stay there again.

The single bedrooms are a little cramped although very well equipped, and - a personal dislike - I hate foam pillows.

We were very impressed with the location and the friendliness of the staff; nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely overlooking the Grand Canal. Very good breakfast.

The bathroom was very small and the bedroom needed decorating.

The people were friendly, the food was good

Our room was on the first floor next to the water which smell bad during low tide and it was beneath the stairs so we could hear people going up and down the stairs. We called the room the booking.com special

A very nice hotel, located close to the Realto Bridge and much more. The staff was efficient and professional. Breakfast was very nice and the lady who managed it was wonderful ... polite, efficient, friendly .. nice way to start the day.

The noise from the canal is annoying .. better to have a room away from it. The bed was too hard.

La posizione molto suggestiva, specialmente per le stanze con vista sul Canal Grande; gli arredi e l'allestimento delle stanza (di colore diverso!) molto belli

Anche se penso che non fosse possibile installare un ascensore in un palazzetto d'epoca, salire e scendere varie rampe di scale non è il massimo del confort. La colazione non è per nulla all'altezza delle 4 stelle e del prezzo delle stanze

Preferred the fact it was a bit more off the beaten track and away from the thousand of day trip tourists

Bar area could be made to be more of a welcoming / focal point area with more to offer

lovely building and deco and good location.not so crowded as San Marco area.

No lift to any of the floors so quite a climb to our top floor bedroom. All the staff were very good apart from the one on reception when we returned to the hotel in the evenings about 10pm 11pm. He was very unfriendly and clearly didn't want to be helpful when we ordered drinks from the bar

The situation: it couldn't have been better. The hotel is in a very quiet location and/but very close from the market. We are near the touristic center but we get a glimpse of the Venitian life.

Very hard working and helpful staff. Wonderfully atmospheric and old building.

The breakfast area was a bit of a nightmare. The room is far too small for the number of guests. This resulted in long queues at the food and drinks areas and meant hotel guest couldn't squeeze past to get in and out of the room. The fruit,juice etc felt as though it was tinned not fresh,which was a great shame. Not the best start to the day!

A. Glimpse of old Venice, intImate atmosphere, lovely to sit and watch the boats go by along the Grand Canal. Easy to find from the vaparrato station if you look out for the signs, not far if your are fit to carry your bags otherwise get a water taxi directly to entrance on grand canal..

The prime attraction is being on the Grand Canal and the great frontage. Arriving by water taxi was brilliant. The staff were helpful.

The place is much smaller than it looks. Interior of the hotel is disappointing and the public spaces cramped. 3rd floor is a converted attic, our rooms dark and cheaply furnished (NB lights are on in the photos). Also quite a hike up steep stairs.
