The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff were helpful and polite, the locaton is fantastic! and the price we paid for Venice was great! I love the maps that were given as well (although I still got lost) I just wish we could have stayed longer. |

The hotel was convenient for walking around Venice. As a small hotel it was possible to eat breakfast at a time of our choosing. Staff were pleasant and helpful both before and during our stay and provided by e-mail instructions on how to reach the hotel from the airport. Room cleaning was cursory during our stay. The hotel was up two long flights of stairs. Breakfast was limited: no fresh fruit and uninteresting bread. |

The proximity with San Marco square, full stop. The staff was awfully helpless, cleanliness were very poor, the breakfast didn't deserved to be called so and, to complete the nightmare, my wife's expensive and favourite pair of sunglasses were stolen inside the room. The receptionist seemed to live in another planet and really didn't care about our complains and the stay ended as it should in such a creepy place: in the carabinieri office. |

I liked the location and the smallness of the hotel. Also the architecture/decorations were nice - Venetian style as they promised. The terrace is perhaps too small for breakfasts when the hotel is full. |

air conditioning i booked two rooms at this hotel one double and one twin.when we got there we were given two doubles( which was not what i booked)as the two adults travelling with us did not want to share a bed only a room!both bedrooms had a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and no floor space!!! we felt like we were sleeping in a cupboard.the bathroom was dirty, shower was a trickle and no lock on our bathroom door so consequently every time we opened the main bedroom door the bathroom door flew open!!!when we looked out of our bedroom window there was a brick wall opposite which we could touch(so much for a room with a view)breakfast was served between 7.30 and 10.00 when we arrived for breakfast at 9.30 there was no orange juice, croissants left |

Close proximity to S. Marks square - very convenient. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. On our arrival staff assisted us with bringing luggage up the stairs. Offered to make bookings on guided tours which assisted us greatly. Clean, neat hotel. Continental breakfast was well presented and adequate. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay there again. The only down side are the steps to get to the hotel foyer- no lift. However this was not a problem as the staff offered to assist us. |

Staff was very pleasant and helpful with information, maps, directions, ability to leave luggage. Hotel well located. Bathrooms were small and the combination shower/tub was not well designed, led to water all over bathroom. |

Cheap. Pretty clean! The hotel is on the 2nd floor, and there was no lift and just 2 flights of rather long stairs, we had to hurl our luggage upstairs. Our room was clean but the airconditioner wasnt working and kept spitting out heat and it was so hot that we couldn't sleep. The breakfast was in their reception hall, which was kind of weird. |
