tutto piacevole... servizio cucina curato e gradito per forma e stile

Il personale è molto cortese. Il ristorante offre piatti molto buoni e ricercati anche se non per tutte le tasche. La colazione è curata e fornisce a richiesta ma senza spese supplemetari, affettati e formaggi freschi. Le camere sono molto pulite e per chi cerca il silezio e la tranquillità è il posto ideale in quanto l'hotel sorge alla fine di un agglomerato di case con una unica strada in cui passa una sola macchina per volta.

La posizione lontana dai servizi pubblici e la strada di accesso molto stretta non consentono agevoli spostamenti. L'hotel pur essendo curato non è di recente costruzione ed il mobilio segue questa linea un po' retrò.

Non mi è piaciuto che su booking ho visto e scelto in base a foto della struttura che poi si è rivelata un altra. Penso sia dovuto al fatto che l'hotel mi è sembrato composto da due edifici,uno d'epoca e uno più "moderno";((

Perfetto lo staff, disponibile e professionale. Molto particolare la camera famigliare, spaziose e pulite le altre.

Il bagno esterno nella camera famigliare non è stato il massimo, era anche piuttosto piccolo e un po' scomodo, ma nelle vecchie costruzioni questo può capitare.

Il bagno andrebbe rimodernato più che altro per la cabina doccia, piccola, scomoda, con il braccetto mezzo rotto e la temperatura dell'acqua poco stabile. "Washer little, uncomfortable, water with difficulty of mix. L'aria condizionata veniva spenta quando nn c'eravamo. In assenza dello staff, la notte, siamo rimasti senza, non avendo comandi x attivarla. Air conditioned controlled by staff. Sometimes it needs to ask for it. But during the night there's no staff!

Pour y arriver, il faut passer dans une rue tellement étroite qu'il faut rabattre les rétroviseurs, cette rue est à double sens et au retour nous avons du faire 2 x marche arrière, j'étais terrifiée à terminer mes vacances avec ma voiture rayée des 2 cotés!

Estrema cortesia dei proprietari, buona qualità del livello in cucina, flessibilità del personale, ottima colazione a livello di un quattro stelle.

Lentezza nel servizio dovuta ad un impianto di cucina vetusto probabilmente, i televisori nell'appartamento hanno i decoder digitale che non funzionano e quindi avevo tre televisori inutilizzabili. L'acqua calda arriva dopo dieci minuti nella doccia.

Simply excelent.

ONLY one small disadvantage: you have to drive up hill on very narrow street :)

Tastfull dishess

It was an ideal location after arriving at Bergamo airport for the start of our tour of the Italian Lakes, taking about an hour and that was in the pouring rain! The bar and restaurant was very good and the staff very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Parking was directly outside the hotel and free!

Nothing really, although the approach to the hotel by road is very narrow.

A lovely hotel in a very picturesque location. The owner speaks excellent English and couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family run hotel, where every effort was made to ensure we had a fantastic holiday. I have never felt so at home at a hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The access road is narrow, but there is plenty of room to park and turn around at the hotel itself. The hotel is a great base from which to travel all around the Como area, it is also nice to return to such a quiet hotel after a busy day. We will definitely return to this treasure of a hotel.

Everything is excellent! Beginning with the stuff until the silence, comfort and design.

Arrival can be adventure if you let it, I thought the road narrow but it's a road. Hotel staff couldn't do enough for you. Local pride in the area is to show the very best parts with the local knowledge. If you only have a short stay it is ideal.

Hospitality and very good food with reasonable prices.

We were not given the room that we booked from one and a half months before.

We really enjoyed our quick stay at the hotel. The location itself was a curious experience, since we had to drive through very narrow streets surrounded by houses with our van. No problem there, though. The hotel is small, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and you can get all the services you need from the staff. A few meters away is the beginning of the path that leads to the top of the mountain, from where one can have a great view from the Lago di Como and surroundings. It`s really worth the walk.

The air conditioner was a little noisy, but it`s no big deal.

Very nice rooms, friendly staff, quiet part of the city, very good lakeview from our room. Best breakfast so far.

Incredibel green colour in the corridors...

Very nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, unique, quiet location away from the mainstream but only a short drive from ferrys, good food parking and access to hotel is very tight and requires a small car , but staff will go out of their way to help you stash the car.

Charge for internet

Unbelievable staff as they never tired of offering us free transfers, advice on where to travel, help with any thing we needed in general. We felt really welcomed and would recommend or return ourselves. Not a touristy location either but secluded and beautiful. We could easily get everywhere we needed by bus train or ferry and the view from our room was spectacular. The monastery and castle can be seen next to the lake, lit up in the night. The lake veiw was well worth the small extra cost. Best hotel I have stayed at for all round experience. The family and staff that run it put the finishing touch to the hotel through their care and warmth, and attention to detail.

the location is very bad. could not find it at first at that narrow street, so we ended up scratching the car. kinda far away from beach ( and the beach was not the best)

The staff are so friendly; they make you feel very welcome and at home. The breakfast was lovely, great coffee, croissants, an assortment of yogurt, etc. Take a 15 min climb to a church for a great view of the town and Lake Como.

An amazing little treasure tucked away in the hills! On our arrival, after a four hour drive, we were welcomed warmly and offered complimentary drinks. Our bags were whisked away and taken to our room. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. It was tastefully decorated and furnished. The bathroom was luxurious, as were the towels (best quality of a nine week European trip). Staff are amazingly kind, friendly and helpful, going so far as to drive us to the bus stop so that we could catch the bus into Lecco, and offering to pick us up again at the end of the day! With regards to food, forget Lyon - this is the foodie capital of the world! Look no further than their gourmet restaurant, which has the highest quality, delicious food, and is so reasonably priced for what you get. Hotel San Gerolamo is perfect!
