Breakfast No elevator one the first floor Staff some times not the great helper
Location and room improvements since my previous stay
The receptionist was very helpful and polite Price wise, the hotel was well worth it
There was with no assistance with bags which meant you had to carry your own bags. However what was worse was that the elevator was on the floor above the ground floor; so heavy bags over stairs on your own! The air conditioning wasn't doing its job properly. The bathroom did not have a lock which meant we had to be extra careful when one of us was using it.
-Everything was great for the price. - Did not expect to be in such a great room. -Breakfast was good/Ok, hot chocolate served by waitress was lovely considering the hot chocolate in most parts of rome was quite bad. - toilet was clean and very big
-Only prob is lift does not go to the ground floor. - Small double room.
I asked for parking reservation, they ignored my request
The location was nice. I enjoyed breakfast. The head housekeeper was lovely
This hotel is more of a motel. It has the potential to do a lot better. Simple things makes a difference. There is no one to help you with your baggage apart from the receptionist, seeing the elevator is on the first floor. The rooms are extremely small. I had one large suitcase and a carry on and there was hardly room for me. Also the single rooms has a bunk bed. First time I've seen a hotel give u a bunk bed for single occupancy. I was annoyed. The wifi isn't strong at the end of the corridor. Also you need to find a better solution to keep your coffee hot. Also invest in black out curtains. And lastly, how can u outsource a computer and charge your guest to use it in 2014. That's mundane. I've had better accommodation for cheaper.
They cancelled part of our reservation. We had 11 rooms booked, they rented 4 rooms to someone else. Our group which had a confirmed reservation of 11 rooms, could only get 7 rooms. The remaining 4 rooms were moved to another hotel in their chain. They did this without giving us any prior notice although they had our phone and emails. Very unprofessional staff.
The location and neighbourhood of hotel was OK. also convenient because was really close (100 m) from tram station.
-There was no guaranty to have a hot water at bathroom -The first 2 nights(after 4 nights) we couldn't sleep because of annoying sound of pump house.
Rude unhelpful staff. Only one power socket in the whole room and even that was not located in a easy to reach place.
Near the metro
A grocery shop and a Japanese restaurant nearby.
Printing a page of email costs 3.5 euro. A local phonecall costs extra. Lack of a chair. Lift on the first floor. Must carry luggage up and down at least 8 metres. Room a bit too small. Toilet too small, a man may get infection. Public transport overcrowd gives chance to pickpocketers, have met four times in five days. Dirty streets and parks with broken glasses pn the ground. Lack of chairs in parks, bus stops and train stations. Italy was glorious in the past, not now.
The location and cleanliness
The bed was too short for me, besides it was old, cheap and was creaking. Bathroom was quite dirty, maybe disinfected but definitely not clean, the window there couldn't be closed properly because of missing lock. The AC was also old and dusty. The room was small, and both room and furniture require serious renewal even to match 3*. In the breakfast hall we saw ants on the tables and dirty coffee cups. Last, but not least - concierge refused to print tickets to the bus for us, so we had to pay 5 Eur to do this ourselves from their PC.
room state was nice
wifi didn't work. telephone in room didn't work
Toilet flushing system faulty had to use the toilet facilities near the dining area...most inconvenient for 3 nights.Bed not confortable. The MEN at reception very rude not friendly and most of all not helpful. Not recommendable for my friends
Hotel is located near Metro so it is easy to get to all main attractions. Room was small but comfortable, good choice for breakfast.
We didn't know that the Mini Bar was not included and were asked to pay for it when checking out (there was no price list on the fridge).
we liked everything!
I had a problem while I was sleeping, my bed went down! They changed my room because it was too late to fix the bed. To me it was very weird this fact. The other problem was that one has to climb 3 stiairs ( 32 steps) to reach the elevator. I am 76 and hve severe problem in my knees, very hard to take my 2 bags upstairs.Nobody to help me.
Location nearby public transport
Breakfast was poor
Good value for money
Good location for metro. Staff friendly and helpful. Basic facilities for price and a clean room.
Wifi and satellite tv has bad connection in the room. Doors could be heard slamming throughout the night from other guests. Breakfast was very average. Shower was poor quality. I would say the room should have been €10 a night cheaper to make it worth the price.
Easy location close to a metro station. For how much we paid, it was an excellent value. Would come back again!!
Great value for money at a convenient location
A bit hard to find when u arrived at bologna station with luggage Lift is available from first floor so have to carry the luggage up one floor
I really liked the staff. They were very courteous and attentive. When I had a problem with the heat, the staff on duty made sure I was in a room that had heat and hot water. He was concerned and very attentive. I stayed at the hotel 7 days and all the staff I met were very kind and attentive. I also liked the buffet breakfast. It was very good and the lady in charge of the breakfast was very nice.
I did not like that the elevator does not go down to the ground floor. It stops at the first floor. Being elderly it was a concern to me because I was worried about carrying luggage up and down the steps. However, the staff on duty helped with my luggage both times.
