If you want a truly Tuscany feel, this is an excellent hotel. The only thing missing is the view. just no views, but it was perfect every other way. |

The man who showed us to our room was friendly. The very convenient location. The front desk staff, the bath room, the non existent view, the scary slow elevator, the lack of amenities in the bathroom, the tiny shower, the tiny TV high on the wall, the noisy street cleaner at seven AM, the dark hall way, the bare bones breakfast with terrible coffee, the price versus quality, the unfriendly check out person |

The room was elegant - the best of our Italian hotels! The location couldn't be better for walking around the ancient town, for resting between sketching and painting excursions, for a romantic holiday that conjures up fantasies of living in a far-gone time. Staff were extremely helpful, gracious. Buffet breakfast was excellent with the usual wonderful pastries, etc. but also with hot scrambled eggs! For a relatively small fee, we are able to reserve ahead to park our rental car right on site and this was a great relief to us as our guidebook said parking might be difficult. |

The staff was friendly and did all they could to make us comfortable and they were as accomodating as possible. The first room faced the street which was very noisy at nite. The room was an upgrade from the first one they showed us, we picked it because it was a had more light and another window, otherwise the first room had a tiny window with a good view. It would have been helpful for the staff to give us the honest input about each room to help us make a better choice since they left it up to us which one we preferred. |

We enjoyed staying in a historical building: the public rooms are grand - filled with antiques and decorated with frescoes. We had a room in the roof for which the air conditioning was not adequate. |

It's a nice that hotel is located city center of Cortona. Its style is very charming and classic, we do like their small couryard style for breafast and reading area. The stuffs were helpful.. I just wished that they could have given us better room. We requsted a room with view meaning window could face street or some view however we end up a room with windeow was facing no where. We didn't want to open it... We thought if they couldn't provide us a room with window facing street or nicer view or at least noticing us ahead of time; becuase the room we booked it wasn't what they had showned in booking website. It's overpriced for what we had. |

This is an excellent hotel right in the centre of Cortona only a few paces from the main areas. The rooms we booked were very spacious and clean. Vehicle access is easy (although steep) through one of the main town gates to offload bags and free parking was easily found just outside the town walls. The staff were very helpful and I observed them dealing very well with what I would describe as an obnoxious American guest. We visited during a cultural festival week and the staff were able to obtain tickets to the main event (a classical musical performance involving Sir Anthony Hopkins) at a much discounted price. Not cheap but I find it hard to criticise the hotel for any aspect and on leaving we were given a small ceramic dish as a gift. I cannot think of anything about this hotel the was not liked. |

The beautiful decor of the hotel, the lovely clean cool rooms, the cheerful and helpful cleaning staff, the great breakfasts, the good position of the hotel. We have stayed twice at this hotel and will definitely come back if we come again to Cortona We asked the reception staff several times, unsuccessfully, if they could help us with a three prong adaptor for charging our mobile phone. Of course we should have bought our own, but we do not travel very often and it was not something we remembered that Italy would have different electrical plugs... We did finally manage to buy our own adaptor when the local electrical shop opened three days after our arrival. It would be a good idea if the hotel had a few of these (only cost 4 Euro) to lend out to guests from "three pin plug" countries. Other than with this small point the staff were very helpful. |

The hotel was ideally located. The staff (lady) was very polite and efficient whilst obviously very busy. Car parked & relivered without any fuss. In all a very enjoyable stay. |

the staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good the room was very different than shown on the website. instead of a triple with a queen bed and a twin, there was a queen and a chair that opened to a bed which could not be slept on. the 5cm think/160cm long mattress was put on the floor which made for a very bad night sleep |

Very well located, close to cafe's and restaurants, great views. Very good breakfast served. Attentive staff. One of the nicer mid-range hotels in Cortona. Room could have been prepared earlier (seemed like it may not have been occupied for some time). Room initially had a stale smell. Problem was eventually resolved and we stayed for a week. |

Admire the spectacular views over the vineyards of the Val di Chiana and Lake Trasimeno from the panoramic location of Hotel Restaurant Corys. |
Rugapiana Vacanze offers rooms and apartments right on the main street in Cortona's historic centre. Everything is a short walk away from this small, well-equipped bed and breakfast. |
