Hotel Sanpi Milano  

Reception staff went extra mile more than once also very friendly and polite. Jacuzzi bath very welcome, however high sides limit access for less mobile folks. (Something to think about).

Unfortunately our spa bath did not work and it was going to need repairs so this was disappointing after a long day of sight-seeing.

Staff were the best and most helpful

We have stayed at Sanpi previously and found it to be very reliable, helpful staff, good rooms, lovely bar, good breakfast, very professional hotel.

Nice hotel, 5 min away from metro station La Republica. Free high speed wi-fi. Breakfast is good. Generally speaking: nice, clean, not expensive hotel.

Breakfast room is small and not able to fit all the people. This is why there is always a queue for a free table, which makes feel uncomfortable either those who eat and those who wait. The surroundings there can be loud at night. There is an Ethiopian cafe opposite the hotel and sometimes it feels like they never sleep there and only yell to each other all the night.

It is the 5th or 6th time when we stay in this hotel. we like the staff, the rooms, the atmosphere, the restaurants around. We always look forward to our trips to Milan. And if the hotel sanpi is not available, we change the dates:) And by the way, the breakfast are getting better and better! I already want to com back!!!

Boutique hotel in a quiet location and offering an extensive breakfast.

Excellent service, quality and location at reasonable prices. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the breakfasts were excellent. The hotel itself is very pleasant and well maintained. It was an excellent experience all around - and we look forward to returning in the future!

The room was clean with a large bathroom that had a separate toilet within. This turned out to be very convenient as there were three of us. The staff were attentive and accommodated our request for an early check-in without fuss. They were helpful in making dinner reservations. There were several good and inexpensive restaurants along the same street which made it very convenient for us. Although our room was on the ground floor, facing the road, it was very quiet.

Although we felt safe and were never accosted, the street is very quiet at night with a few internet shops and african cafes that stay open until late. If I were travelling alone, I would hesitate to stay on that street.

Orange decor in bedroom a bit dated. More English language channels on TV would have been nice.

The staff is incredibly courteous and helpful. There's none of the Italian attitude or drama. They are patient and friendly. The customer is king. The hotel is small with a nice courtyard. They could use some renovation and modernizing of the lobby. The furniture and layout is not so inviting. They could have it set up better. I had a nice stay w them and would recommend it to friends on a budget.

Great recommendation for dinner Bad coffee from machine Hard pillows there was some odd material peeling from the walls in the shower.

Deposit box not working

Sanpi is really well presented. Lovely interior and courtyard garden, perfect for per dinner drinks. Not an extensive menu though so it is better to go out walking and find a nearby restaurant. The room was immaculate. This hotel has a welcoming ambience - it was perfect for my first nights in Italy. Staff were generally helpful, especially waiters.

Hotel Sanpi was great value for money. As young tourist making our way through Italy, it was pleasant for a one night stay. Wide variety of breakfast options in the morning and the reception staff were incredibly helpful.

No free wi-fi

Superb customer service. The staff helped us to find locations for dinner, supermarket, tourist locations, and transportation. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. One of the cheaper hotels in Milan as well. All around great experience.

The only negative I can say is that the room keys are old-fashioned and are a bit large. This didn't cause any problems at all, just a minor inconvenience (if you can even call it that much).

While being close enough to Cso Buenos Aires, the rooms are quiet. The hotel can arrange for a parking. The single room is small but this was in line with the price paid.

Very Welcoming... Great Breakfast... Great Position...

We love the Hotel Sanpi. It is our second stay and it is great value for money, but best of all, we love the staff who are so helpful and friendly. We love the little garden, and the cocktail bar where nothing is a trouble to the very capable barista.. The rooms are not huge...some better than others, but all up it is a very pleasant stay, and staff are so pleasant that one wants to return. It was recommended to me and I would recommend it to others.

Can't really complain about anything.

This was a great clean, comfortable and stylish hotel close to the main train station in Milan. We stayed here for a night at the end of our Italian trip as it was close to the station and easy to get to the international airport.
