I have the best opinion for the hotel and the owners. The hotel was very clear and in a very good location in Florence. It was near by the centre of the town and you could walk all over the city. We always have hot water and the room had a very good heating. We were impressed by the friendly and helpfull staff. It is absolutely sure that we will visit it again in our next trip to Florence. We have a very good time and we recommend you to stay there.

The people at the Hotel Santa Croce were kind and considerate. The room was a good value for the money. It was located in the heart of the Historic district in Florence and was close to everything. The airconditiong worked well and the room was clean. The breakfast could of been better, but considering the cost of the room, it was adequate.

The location is fantastic, right in the centre of the old part of Florence, you can walk to the Uffizzi or Ponte Vecchio. Also, secure parking is available at a large nearby underground garage.

The best I liked form this Hotel is that they are very professional and I felt at home especially with the breakfast ,by the way the cappucino was one of the best I ever had!.For my next time in Firenze I would like to stay at Hotel Santa Croce.

The location, in a little side street off the road that links Plazza Sante Croce and the Piazza della Signoria is ideal for sight seeing as you are in the middle of everything. At one end of the road is a cocktail bar Oibo, where every evening you can get one drink and a buffet for E8 - sit at the roadside seats and watch the world go by. Would have liked a softer bed. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

The price/quality ratio is very fair for a hotel this well situated in Florence. However it is the extremely friendly and helpful staff that made my stay so pleasant and the reason why, even with a larger budget, I would try to stay here again. They need work on getting better phone reception on the ground floor.

Neat bathroom. Friendly staff. Lots of yelling tourists passing under windows till deep midnight. Mosquitos in the room. Noisy conditioner. Very frugal breakfast.

the hotel was really in the center. just two steps from everywhere! the room was really, really small... and the stairs were awful. the breakfast was very poor... thinking that Florence is in Tuscany, you expect fresh bread, cheese and ham for breakfast... and you just had toasts and sweets...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was poorly appointed. It was expensive for the facilities provided. The website gave the impression that it was much more comfortable than it was in reality. It has a very narrow, steep staircase for example from a small entry, no phones in the rooms and our room was clearly set up for a group of four people. The double bed was two singles made up together!! And there were two other single beds in the room. The bathroom was cramped and not wired in the modern way with a lot of mildew in the shower stall.

Very good location, walking distance from all major sights. A room on ground floor available (which exactly we received), the closest to breakfast place :) Pretty chocolates presented for Befana day :) Towels were not supplied in full from the beginning (appeared next day :)) Breakfast is quite poor and standard from day to day. Only 1 euro-socket available in the room (taken from the air-conditioner).

The location about Santa Croce, the air conditioning and wifi. The place is in a good location, as you can get to the main sights within minutes. Having air conditioning in the room helps as the rooms are small and gets quite warm. The small room, the narrow stairways, the breakfast (packet toast, hot and cold drinks & cornflakes), the staff aren't very welcoming, the pillows are thin and they only change your towels every 3 days. If you want them changed you have to pay an additional charge.

“The location was great. Walking distance from the train station (be sure to get directions as we walked in the wrong direction) and walking distance to all the main sites.
