Hotel Santa Croce  

It was in a good location to all sights. It is on a quiet street and peaceful at night. Near good restaurants.

I have the best opinion for the hotel and the owners. The hotel was very clear and in a very good location in Florence. It was near by the centre of the town and you could walk all over the city. We always have hot water and the room had a very good heating. We were impressed by the friendly and helpfull staff. It is absolutely sure that we will visit it again in our next trip to Florence. We have a very good time and we recommend you to stay there.

The people at the Hotel Santa Croce were kind and considerate. The room was a good value for the money. It was located in the heart of the Historic district in Florence and was close to everything. The airconditiong worked well and the room was clean.

The breakfast could of been better, but considering the cost of the room, it was adequate.

The price/quality ratio is very fair for a hotel this well situated in Florence. However it is the extremely friendly and helpful staff that made my stay so pleasant and the reason why, even with a larger budget, I would try to stay here again.

They need work on getting better phone reception on the ground floor.

Lots of yelling tourists passing under windows till deep midnight. Mosquitos in the room. Noisy conditioner. Very frugal breakfast.

the room was really, really small... and the stairs were awful. the breakfast was very poor... thinking that Florence is in Tuscany, you expect fresh bread, cheese and ham for breakfast... and you just had toasts and sweets...

Very good location, walking distance from all major sights. A room on ground floor available (which exactly we received), the closest to breakfast place :) Pretty chocolates presented for Befana day :)

Towels were not supplied in full from the beginning (appeared next day :)) Breakfast is quite poor and standard from day to day. Only 1 euro-socket available in the room (taken from the air-conditioner).

Its not a hotel, its a hostel. The shower is a joke!

The location about Santa Croce, the air conditioning and wifi. The place is in a good location, as you can get to the main sights within minutes. Having air conditioning in the room helps as the rooms are small and gets quite warm.

The small room, the narrow stairways, the breakfast (packet toast, hot and cold drinks & cornflakes), the staff aren't very welcoming, the pillows are thin and they only change your towels every 3 days. If you want them changed you have to pay an additional charge.
