Thisw is a nice enough hotel. everything clean and staff friendly. Rooms were pretty small, though (especially for 200+ euros a night), and breakfast was pretty everage, and the hotel facilities were pretty average too. small rooms, average breakfast, nothing major, but not sure about the excellent rating this hotel has got. I don;t think the price reflects what the hotel has to offer - it is not value for money. |

Excellent location, friendly staff speaking at least English & French, good breakfast, very nice historical milieu. Some small problems with shower, air conditioning and lights. The hotel should check the techniques (room 401). - I missed good maps and brochures in the reception. There was only one map and not a very good one. I took a better one from the desk of another hotel. |

It is really nice hotel, well decorated and clean. The location is almost perfect and the breakfast is good. The only problem was the hotel does not have niether irons nor ironing boards. So, bring your iron with you, otherwise you will have to wait until next day to get your shirt ironed at the laundry. |

Hotel fitted to a high standard, room was nicely decorated with no external noise and staff very helpful and courteous. In a city where everything is expensive the hotel represented good value. My personal experience was very good overall. |

The suite was luxurious and the breakfast was wonderful. It was located perfectly for exploring the city. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke very good English. We were able to extend our stay, which was an added bonus. We loved everything. The only thing that would have made it even more perfect would have been 24 hour room service. |

The staff did everything possible to make my visit in Florence memorable. Some of my favorite experiences were the events organised and arranged by the staff. Even the breakfast servers were friendly, helpful and fantastic. They remembered everything I liked and were always interested in my experiences. I would have liked light more conducive to reading in my room. |

staff was kind. The entrance and breakfast room is beautiful. We never choose this hotel at the next time. It was awful night for us. Sudden black out and suspension of the water supply by the snow....and fire alert....but the staff didn't care about us sincerely, and the fire alert went on flashing until next morning;when we checked out. |

Loved the location as close to station and to the attractions. Also the staff were excellent with nothing too much trouble. Rooms were spacious with fantastic view of the piazza. Breakfast was very basic and the lifts were slow |

What a great location minutes from the Station and main bus depot and very handy for the Pisa Airport transfer. Everything in central Florence is within 15 mins walk from the hotel which looks over a lovely quiet square so no traffic noise.Our room was 601 top floor with a roof terrace and the most spectacular views over Florence and the Tuscan countryside.The room has a large porthole window over the bed which has the best view of the Duomo money can buy - 215 euros per night but worth it and Florece is expensive anyway . We will return |

Nice elegant room, firm bed, good view. Very polite staff at reception.Easy to get to from the train. Loud humming sound which was only noticeable when trying to sleep, even with earplugs on. Expensive. |
