Hotel Santa Maria Novella

Das Hotel ist von A-Z sehr gepflegt. Ein feines Frühstück; es fehlte an nichts. Stilvolles Ambiente, wo man hinschaute. Professionelles Personal an der Rezeption, im Service sowie auf den Etagen.

Wir hatten anfänglich ein Zimmer mit Sicht in den Hinterhof, das uns beinahe einengte, konnten dann aber am folgenden Tag wechseln mit Sicht auf die Piazza Santa Maria Novella. Diese Geste haben wir sehr geschätzt und es kostete keinen Aufpreis.

Die Freudlichkeit der Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen; der Sevice und die Sauberkeit sowie zentrale Lage für Besichtigungen der Sehenswürdigkeiten in Florenz. Ein 4-Sterne Hotel das diesem Anspruch gerecht wird

Wir hatten ein fantastisches Zimmer, wenn auch ohne Blick auf den Platz Santa Maria Novella. Da auf der Platzseite den ganzen Tag die Sonne auf das Hotel scheint, war das vielleicht sogar gut so. Es gibt abends einen "Turning Down Service" (das Licht wird gedämmt, Vorhänge zugezogen und das Bett aufgedeckt), das Bad war sehr schön mit Dusche und "Regendusche".

excellent staff, very friendly and welcoming. nice breakfast, too. the location is great, right near the train station for trips to tuscany and a quick walk to all the sites of Florence too.

A very nicely decorated authentic Tuscan style hotel. Very well situated, comfortable, romantic, quiet, and warm. Highly recomandable.

The situation in a quiet piazza, the views, the quality, the cleanliness, the service, the breakfast, the staff, everything in fact.

What a great location minutes from the Station and main bus depot and very handy for the Pisa Airport transfer. Everything in central Florence is within 15 mins walk from the hotel which looks over a lovely quiet square so no traffic noise.Our room was 601 top floor with a roof terrace and the most spectacular views over Florence and the Tuscan countryside.The room has a large porthole window over the bed which has the best view of the Duomo money can buy - 215 euros per night but worth it and Florece is expensive anyway . We will return

Loud humming sound which was only noticeable when trying to sleep, even with earplugs on. Expensive.

The location is excellent; a stone throw from the major attractions in Florence. The room I stayed was neutrally decorated, relatively spacious and comfortable. The bathroom, albeit small, had the required facilities for a 4* hotel. Although the surroundings of the hotel are a bit noisy at times, the windows are double glazed and the aircon is pretty good; hence, this was not a problem. The staff was incredibly helpful.

Stayed in the junior suite which is spacious and has a sitting area for just a little extra charge then the standard double room, the hotel is well located, overlooking the santa maria square, and in walking distance to the center and train station. The free internet was also a plus.

Had to use two lifts and go down stairs in order to get to my room with a baby pram which was not so convinient.

Good location, nice staff, nice room

We loved our stay at Hotel Santa Maria Novella. The rooms and decor are beautiful and our windor looked right out onto Piazza Santa Maria Novella. It's very central to both the train station and main sites and shopping in Florence - can't go wrong!
