Hotel Santa Maria Novella  

Hotel is heel mooi en ze zijn erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt is heerlijk rustig en wordt goed aangevuld..

Airco werkte niet en afstandbediening van de tv ook niet!!

We liked the breakfast buffet, the front desk staff, the location, our room's balcony, our room's big bathtub, the big walk-in closet, the whole style of the hotel.

This is minor, but there were many stairs to navigate after taking the elevator up to our floor. Ten steps up, then a hallway, then six steps down, hallway, another eight steps up...etc. My knees were giving out already from all the walking we did all day and then it was another challenge to get to our room.

Interior, design, breakfast, view from junior suite to the square and Santa Maria Novella .staff is very friendly and helpthful.

The staff was exceptional and attentive. They upgraded our room to a piaza view on arrival for no extra charge just because it was available. The location is superb; within a 2 to 10 minute stroll of all major downtown attractions in Florence. Room decor, size, and bathroom amenities were very high class. We will stay in this hotel again if stopping by in Florence.

It can be a little difficult to find. There is no large sign. When standing in the middle of Santa Maria Piazza, if you look facing the church, the hotel is at the 3 O'clock position on your right. You will have to pay for parking, but this is true for anywhere in downtown Firenza. Parking attendant was good and car was safe.

Everything! very nice room, very clean, perfect to stay for a honeymoon trip or everything else. 4 star hotel that really deserve this!

Close to train station, excellent location. Clean room and comfortable bed.

The location was exellent staff couldnt have been more helpful and the place had a lovely atmosphere.

Great location. The breakfast was excellent. In general the hotel was great I would stay again if they had a different room. The room was not what I expected for an upgraded room.

The housekeeping service for the room was not consistent. The map provided by the hotel for directions from the train station needs to be revised. It is not the most direct route and is difficult with suitcases. The room we stayed in was very dark - additional lights are needed. The in room kettle is not located near an outlet requiring us to move furniture to access it., Also the provide only tea and should add packets of instant coffee.

Excellent hotel, room (standard) and breakfast. Sensational location, walking distance to all Florence attractions and 1/4 mile from train station.

Show box is extremely small and free wi-fi has poor signal, almost useless. Breakfast is good, but either you go very early or close to the ending, otherwise you will live a complete mess: the room is large enough and there are many tables, but the only 3 employees working there are not able to keep up with the demand, clean tables, replenish goods and serve customers. Hotel management must do something, it's unfair eitheir to customer and the poor 3 employees.

Wireless internet service was poor. Finding the hotel by car was very difficult.

Good location in walking distance to the old city centre and most museums. Comfortable and large room (junior suite) with interesting decore. Breakfast very nice, although no longer on the rooftop.

Have to pay for wifi and was not very reliable.
