Hotel Santa Maria Novella  

I liked its style, its location, the staff kindness.

I know sometimes it's hard to deal with customers but staff must be super kind satisfying every request. At breakfast time only a waitress looked annoyed...she almost fumed at my request of having breakfast seated in a table rather than another.

The location is very good, close to the train station and to one of the best churches to visit in Florence. The staff was amazing, the rooms are very clean and have a lot of space. The breakfast is good (nothing more than that though)

Watch when you go take a shower, they don't provide mats so you can easily slip and fall. The furniture is overall outdated (not a problem, just a comment, since everything is very well maintained). If you're driving you can't stop in front of the hotel for pick up/drop off. You have to get an authorization from the hotel (10 euros) to drive in that part of the town otherwise you can get a 90 euro ticket. The place can be noisy at night or early morning (we woke up with ambulances screaming our ears off both nights we slept there).

The staff were efficient and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. The room with a view over the square was stunning.

The hotel is very close to all sight - seenings in the city. So the location is very good.

-The location of this hotel is amazing: 5min from train station, 5min from city center, as well as, 5 min to the revier ! Just walk and you will reach everything. - The staff were unbelievable ! They will help you more than what u think !

-In the website there was massage in the activities space, but it was not real ! u have to order a therapiest or go to ! - the breakfast was'nt good enough.

Absolutely loved everything about Hotel Santa Maria Novella. The location was very convenient, the staff exceptional, the hotel beautiful and the free breakfast was a wonderful treat. I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had.

The absolute beauty of this Hotel is with its location. You are no more than 5 mins from the centre of things in Florence. Rooms are classic in decour but lack a degree of functionality. Staff (those that speak English) were very warm & supportive.

The staff was exceptional and attentive. They upgraded our room to a piaza view on arrival for no extra charge just because it was available. The location is superb; within a 2 to 10 minute stroll of all major downtown attractions in Florence. Room decor, size, and bathroom amenities were very high class. We will stay in this hotel again if stopping by in Florence.

It can be a little difficult to find. There is no large sign. When standing in the middle of Santa Maria Piazza, if you look facing the church, the hotel is at the 3 O'clock position on your right. You will have to pay for parking, but this is true for anywhere in downtown Firenza. Parking attendant was good and car was safe.

Everything! very nice room, very clean, perfect to stay for a honeymoon trip or everything else. 4 star hotel that really deserve this!

The internet service was frustrating.

Stayed in a junior suite, the room was huge and luxurious and had a wonderful view of Santa Maria Novella Church, breakfast was delicious and staffs were friendly.

The room was directly above a bar, people got drunk and sang all nite, especially at weekends. And there was an ambulance center right across the park in front of the hotel, we could hear siren all nite.
