I loved the location of the hotel and the fact that the airport shuttle bus is just around the corner. You should put this on your website and tell people a little more about the shuttle bus and how convenient it is to get to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again as it is so convenient. The staff at reception didn't always understand English. We asked for a towel as we were one short in our room and no-one gave us one. Also when we went for breakfast there often wasn't any croissants or tea. We always had breakfast quite early too. I think the breakfast itself is very good but there didn't seem to be much of it. This definitely needs to be improved.

The hotel had all the basic amenities and was clean. Something I really appreciated. There was also a fridge in the room and ac which is very good as Rome can get very hot. We stayed in the annex which was just 50m from the hotel and very nice. The location is excellent. Just 10 mins walk (maybe less) from the spanish steps and the Castel di San Angelo. Also not more than 15 mins walk from the trevi fountain and Vatican City. There are also a number of great restaurants and cafes that serve good Italian food (not just the touristy stuff) very close by. Also excellent bus links (bus 492: 15/20mins) to the Station Termini and other key locations around Rome. All in all I really enjoyed my stay Some hotel staff were not so knowledgeable about transport in Rome which shocked me. They advised me to get a 50euro taxi to the train station instead of getting the 1euro bus. I would ask for info at the several tourist info points around rather than at the hotel. But despite the lack of knowledge they were very polite. The bathroom was small but not as bad as some people here make it out to be.

The main reason why I chose this hotel was because of the location and I liked the name sant Angelo. During the trip we discovered that the bus stop for the shutlle bus from the Fiumincino airport was just around the corner, whats great and saved us a lot of time. Location is perfect, just ten minutes of walk from Vatican city and ten minutes walk to the center. That located us in the perfect position to see in 3 days all of the main historical sites.I Would stay in this hotel again.

Basic hotel, value for money. Excellent location for all the best sights in Rome. In a quiet side street just yards from the river. Would definitely stay here again.

location of hotel. very close to vatican city and castlo st angelo. close enough to most other attractions. No lobby or lounge to have a drink and relax. When you went back to the hotel there was nothing to do only go to your room. The shower in room 306 was so small you could not raise your hands to wash your hair. If you were not down to breakfast early there was little for breakfast. I asked for another tea bag one morning and was told there was no morel

Location; 70metres from Piazza Cavour. So? Express coach from airport stops there, only Euro 8 to the door! Also 87 bus direct to Collosium, 49 to Vatican and 280 (?) to Travesterre in the evening. Easy walk to Navonna etc. Service simple but helpful; PCs with printers, for online check in, on each floor. Breakfast on site, 5 min queue one day. Kettle provided in room Coffe bar and bank across road, bar further down, pizzaria round corner.Deli for milk etc close by - opp suchi restaurant. Quiet air con. Not flash, but does the job.Relatively quiet, penty of pressurised water hot water in showers For the price it was excellent.

I liked the location of the hotel as is was so near to the river Tiber which we used as a land mark for getting around Rome. The walk by the river is beautiful and 2 minutes from the hotel. The Vatican and Castle Saint Angelo are only 5 minutes walk from the hotel which we were delighted with. Bus stops very close also. Reasonably priced and lovely breakfast. The staff at breakfast were very helpful and friendly and the croissants were to die for. reasonably priced hotel so it is good value for money. What we didn't like was we asked for a double bed and got 2 singles pushed together. Another complaint is there never was milk in the room to make a cup of tea or coffee. (although when I asked for milk I got some but the next evening there was none left again).

Although the rooms are small, they are clean. Also, the location is on a quiet street. The location was excellent--about a 15 minute walk to the Spanish steps and the same to St. Peter's Basilica. It was a short walk to the Del Corso which leads to the Victor Emmanuale monument and the Colleseum. Many sights are located off the Del Corso. If you are able and up to walking, it is possible to get around without using public transportation.

We were not charged for the breakfast buffet even though it said not included in price when we booked it. Breakfast was excellent. The bed was firm which we liked. Also, this is one of the few hotels we've been in Italy which has a hotel. elevator was really small and slow, but atleast they had an elevator.

Almost all attractions of the city are within walking distance of the hotel (E.G. the St. Peter's Basilica 15 minutes). The breakfast buffet was very rich. The checkout in the early morning (about 6:15 am) was very time consuming and annoying, because the receptionist was not famliar with the billing process. A delay of more than 30 minutes is not acceptable if you have to catch a train or plane.

We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning. The food was good and so was the variety. It was convenient and saved our family money by not having to go out for breafast before beginning our day of sightseeing. We also liked the location of the hotel, but that is more of a personal choice. The hotel was undergoing some construction and the workers began pounding about 7am each morning. They sometimes needed more reception staff as we sometimes had to wait quite a while before someone was available to help us.

The location of this hotel was pretty good, and it was quiet.I asked for a quiet room and I got one - room 410 - end of the corridor away from the lifts and noise. We booked the 'annex' room - and this is down the road a bit away from the main hotel (hotel has a few floors in another building). For us that was ok because we never get up to have hotel breakfasts. Cleaner in the morning was incredibly noisey. Hotel very basic - no creature comforts at all - considering the price - (it isnt a cheap hotel!)

Location was best possible for our needs. Two out of three staff were excellent the third one was simply a language problem.Proximity of pick up point for airport shuttle bus (Piazza Cavour) for our departure was a bonus.Within easy walking distance of Spanish Steps /Trevi Fountain etc also pleasnt walk (15 mins)along the Tiber to St Peters Square and The Vatican Museums. No relaxation space ie no bar, lobby or reception area. Room size was adequate but only one chair bearing in mind this was the only place to sit down if one had a minute to spare.Bathroom was minute as was lift 3 persons without baggage or two with baggage.Proximity to airport shuttle pick up or set down point should be pointed out on hotel site as it is a gtreat bonus. In our case we could have saved £50 had we known.Breakfast didnt start until 7.30 which was a bit late for early morning departures. Bedroom had tea/coffee making facilities but no milk.Plastic glasses in bathroom no other glasses supplied, had to go to reception for a couple of wine glasses.

The staff was helpful enough. The most hospitable and kind was Mikolai! He really knows the ins ans outs of this city and knows what to reccommend when You tell what You are expecting and looking for. The hotel comprises two separate builidings in the same street so if You want to leave Your key to reception or use the public computer for internet, You have to get dressed and leave Your builing for the main hotel building. The room TV was broken - picture came and went as pleased. I asked them to have the technician look at it, twice, nothing improved within 4 days...And no tea/coffe equipment in standard room, as is the regular custom elswhere in Europe! Overall the stay wasn't worth the price

The proximity to the main tourist area of Rome was what we liked best about the hotel. We had only a short walk to a bridge that we crossed to reach the main area. This meant that although we were in a fairly noisy area, it was not so noisy as the main area. There were sevaral things we did not like about this hotel. The hotel only occupied part of a building and we are used to a hotel occupying a whole building. While there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, the tea, coffee, sugar, etc were not replenished. Breakfast was a poor affair and made poorer that cheese and ham were only available if specifically requested. Coffee and tea also had to be asked for. The bathroom was too small. Even though it had no bath, there was still not room to turn around in the shower. Any request to hotel staff represented a monumental task to fulfill. I could go on but suffice to say that we knew Rome hotels were expensive and thus our expectations were fairly low with regard to the hotel but the Sant Angelo fell well below our expectations and we would not use it again.
