Hotel Sant'Angelo    

Skutočne dobrá poloha hotela. Veľa pamiatok je dostupných pešo. Autobus z/na letisko (Shuttle Bus) má zastávku veľmi blízko (6 EUR/1 jazda). Na susednej ulici sú zastávky busov-MHD na všetky smery (Koloseum, Forum romanum atď.) Personál hotela bez problémov, raňajky veľmi dobré.

Všetko O.K. Izba síce veľmi malá, ale za rozumnú cenu. Jedna malá výtka - aspoň 1 TV kanál v inej reči, ako v taliančine by sa zišiel.

Jednoznačne poloha hotela, kvôli ktorej sme si ho vybrali. Všetko podstatné v Ríme sme mohli navštíviť peši. Dobré a lacné spojenie ShuttleBusom z letiska takmer pred hotel.

Ubytovali nás v inej budove vzdialenej asi 100m, na 4 poschodí obývaného domu. Po reklamácii sme dostali izbu v hlavnej budove. Pri sťahovaní batožiny personálom do hlavnej budovy nám zmizol slamenný klobúk. Po sťažnosti sa na druhý deň zázrakom našiel. Raňajky sú v poriadku ak si privstanete a budete tam hneď na začiatku. Raz sme si dovolili pospať a nemali sme o 9:00 čo jesť. Chlieb nebol čerstvý ani raz, aj keď sme prišli o 7:30. Jedáleň malinká, hostia čakajú na chodbe na voľný stôl.

What a wonderful find, the staff, the location and the personal attention was amazing. I will definitely recommend the Hotel Sant'Angelo to everyone I know who is planning to visit Rome. Thankyou!

I really can't think of anything I didn't like other than having to leave. I felt like a family guest rather than a stranger staying in a hotel.

Location to Roman sights is very good.

Terrible mattress. The girl in the breakfast room toched every spoon, fork and knife on exactly the wrong spot when she laid the table. One day the cleaning staff forgot our bathroom.

The staff were excellent: exceedingly polite and cheerful, bent over backwards to be helpful. Hotel had bags of character, really individual. Rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Lovely crisp white linen and towels. Good breakfast. Very attentive maid service: rooms tidied twice a day.

Occasionally had to wait for space at breakfast.

Location perfect. Staff lovely, room nice and clean. Breakfast okay you had to be down early to avail of the selection.

Nothing I didn't like really but if you have tea, coffee making facilities in the room it would be nice to have the contents as well. We only had the kettle, 2 cups and saucers and a bottle opener, no tea, coffee, sugar etc.

The location - everything (Vatican, Spanish steps, Fori Imperiali etc.) is quite available by foot within 15-20 minutes. Fuimicino shuttles stop is in 5 minutes across the square. The staff is really friendly and supportive. Very nice atmosphere of Roman XIX century apartment. Well balanced value for money

A little bit noisy, but it is inevitable if you stay in city center, nothing to do with the hotel itself

This was my second time to stay at the hotel and the staff gave me kises as I walked in. They were so happy to see me again. They are very informed of the city and service with always a smile. The free happy hour is always fun too.

They recently implemented a minimum four night stay.

The location was good for the Vatican.we did have a problem with the noise from the air conditioning but when we told the staff they moved us without question.

We made reservations at Sant´Angelo Hotel a month before (March 2013), receiving a confirmation after it. When we arrived there, April 4th (10 P.M.), we did not have a room. But they had a reservation in a similar hotel, two blocks away. The person in charge did not know the reason of the mistake, but gently helped us to carry our baggage to the other hotel. We did not received a notice mail about this situation or a formal explanation the days after until now.

Hotel has a great location and very helpful staff. The rooms are fine, good space. The breakfast selection was good. Would go there again.

When cold outside (+2 celcius at night) it is also a bit cold inside as no heating (at least not in our room).

The staff at Sant Angelo were fantastic. Valera, Veronica and Gianluca were so kind and helpful! Valera even called us from her home to ensure our tour booking was completed. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the rooms were very clean. Every day at 7 pm the hotel hosted Happy Hour with free wine and snacks. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Rome. The location is very close to Vatican City.

Their book in and check out process seem a little clumsy - we learnt from first visit to settle bill night before check out

We liked Valerie, the receptionist who listened to all our complaints. She was very professional, but it was obvious that she could not fix many of the hotel problems as they were out of her control.

The day we arrived, the hotel sent us to another hotel location about a block away stating they were full and we would be happier at their 2nd location because it was quieter and had bigger rooms. They indicated whatever problems we had we could just call the reception and they would come to assist us. The room was not big enough to open our luggage, so we used the bed. The plumbing problem was terrible. The water ran all night and on the second night the room smelled like a sewer. We had to email them when we needed something or we had to walk a block to the other building if we needed anything (including breakfast) because the phone did not work. The second night we emailed them at 1:00 am after having plumbing/sewer problems and told them to move us from the room to the actual hotel. The next day they did move us. The room was bigger and much more quieter. However, the elevator did not work in the main hotel building one of the days we were their. I have travelled extensively over the years and I have never complained in any of the hotels I have ever stayed at. This by far is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. Do not stay at this hotel.

Lady who cleaned our room did an excellent job every day.

- Hotel has an annex a block away from main hotel, where the front door didn't work all the time - we were stuck there. - Rooms small but functional. - No bar.

The staff were very willing to help and provided us with some good restaurants to visit, as two women on their own. Breakfast was of a good quality.

The breakfast room was a little small for the number of guests in the hotel, and sometimes people had to queue to get in. Also I would have liked coffee in my room as well as tea.

Very good hotel location, close to all the historical sites in Rome! Price is excellent considering the location of the hotel!

Sita bus from airport within 5 minutes walk. Hotel clean, tidy and staff very helpful. Short walk to Vatican and across bridge to the city area. Will stay again.
