This hotel has a pleasant modern design. The carpet in the room was stained and there was a smell of sewer water. |

The hotel was located near a huge park one could walk through and in 10 minutes reach a local shopping and eating area. It was also no more than two blocks from the sea wall at the tip of Vienna. Use of a local water taxi was efficient, cost effective and enjoyable. It was a 20 minute walk from San Marco Square and all the noise and bustle and millions of people in "down town" Venice. |

A peaceful retreat after a busy day touring the very busy centre of Venice, you felt like you were miles away but you were within walking distance of St Mark's Square and even easier hopping on and off the Vaporetta with stops nearly outside the door. A bit too expensive at £200 per night! |

The rooms were quite big in size and newly furnished. Bathroom was nice. Breakfast was good. Though not right into city centre it is in mainland and takes only 10 mins to Piazza San Marco by waterbus. They should consider providing a toilet on ground floor. |

Junior suite spacious, nicely designed (room 218); location: an oasis of relaxation but still close to major attractions, boat stop just 150m away from hotel, beautiful garden, nice breakfast, beautiful walk along the water side. Very happy with the hotel. They could have a better tea selection in the room though. |

The front desk staff was very helpful, particularly Tommaso. Made information available when needed without overwhelming us with too much. |

The location in Venice is ideal, and the building has lots of character. We could not get the air conditioning to work properly. |

Plesant hotel last stop on Line 1 before the Lido a GOOD 15 minutes walk from St Marks but pleasantly situated and easy to get to. Use the tourist 3 day travel ticket and get bus from airport and then Vaporetta No 1. 200m from stop! |

Unbelievably quiet and peaceful, yet so close to all the action in central Venice! Lovely view from our large windows. Helpful, friendly, and professional front desk staff. Very nice breakfast buffet. Wish they had a gym. |

The hotel was first class. It is easy to get around by water bus, it's very near to the hotel. Unfortunately it rained heavilyy during the two days we stayed in Venice so we didn't see it like we wanted to. The dinner was exceptional, very tasty and the waiters very attentive. The wireless connection that we had kept bouncing us out of the network. The staff would give us new passwords but it was annoying. |

The food is excellent. The barman who doubled as the dinner waiter was superb. Courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining dishes and ingredients. The attitude of many of the Reception staff was unbelievably rude and offhand. Their training needs some attention - starting with how to look up from their computers and paperwork to say "Good morning" to guests. I was trapped in a lift - not for long, but no one apologised or made sure I was OK when I was released. No one came through on the intercom to reassure me that they knew I was there. |

The location was very good. It was far enough away from the noisier parts of Venice, but was within walking distance. The restaurant was not very good, it did not match the description on the internet. I think some of the rooms were closed as we were given disabled room outside the kitchen doors at first as we had requested a room on the ground floor, when we asked to move we were given smaller rooms in the garden, this time there was a dog that barked constantly in one of the rooms. |

The staff were very helpful, the breakfasts superb,It was further than 10 mins walk to San Marco but that was reflected in the price compared with other hotels near the centre and the location was peaceful. |
