Het elegante Hotel Saturnia & International werd in 1908 gebouwd en wordt beheerd door de familie Serandrei. Het ligt op 200 meter van het San Marcoplein. Het biedt een typisch Venetiaans restaurant, gratis internet en klassiek ingerichte kamers. Alle kamers zijn voorzien van een parketvloer, airconditioning en een eigen marmeren badkamer. Hotel Saturnia & International ligt op slechts 100 meter van theater La Fenice en op 10 minuten lopen van de Rialtobrug. Gasten hebben gratis toegang tot een fitnesscentrum in de buurt. Het terras van het Saturnia biedt een uniek uitzicht over de daken van Venetië en is een ideale plek voor een cocktail of een goed glas wijn. De familie Serandrei beheert ook het La Caravella Restaurant van het hotel. Het serveert lokale gerechten, bereid met alleen de beste seizoensingrediënten. From the moment we arrive the staff were absolutely brilliant. The room we stayed in was wonderful, having a separate lounge area with a flight of stairs leading up to a cozy sleeping area. The view from the lounge windows overlooked one of the canals so we were able to enjoy watching gondoliers go by. We had our best meal while we were in Venice at the hotel restaurant which was fabulous, from the quality of the food and wine through to the service which was impeccable. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Saturnia & International to anyone visiting Venice.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Perfect location. Good quality bathrooms. Rather poor noise isolation between rooms, corridors. Very noisy floors in rooms.

All the staff at this hotel were very helpful and freindly. The reception staff were excellent. Would stay at this hotel again Our bedrooms were on the smallish side but were functional.

First of all people working in the hotel are really friendly and helpful. It makes the difference how you enjoy on your stay or not. The only weak point is breakfast, I was surprised that in a country like Italy, expecting more meditterian food like tomatos, some fresh leaves, olives and olive oil that I could not find. But hotel is other than this perfect. As I said above only missing thing is weakness of the breakfast.

The location in Venice was fantastic---just a short walk to San Marco Square. The shopping was world-class. The breakfast was excellent. However, the best element was the staff, especially one gentleman who worked during the day and wore a morning coat. He gave us wonderful suggestions on what to see and do, including a fun ride on a gondola for the unbelievable price of 50 cents. Can't beat that!!

The hotel was centrally located close to St. Marks Square. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent and rooms were clean and comfortable.

Actually it was my first trip to Venice, all seemed me so beautyful that I hadn't any words and I walked with widely opened eyes. One hotel's entrance looks to street, another to canal where flew gondols with serenades. The room had two levels: down is something like living room, another one is bedroom. There are two "secret window" through you can observe a bathroom. Probably, this solution is very interesting for honey- moon couples... Staff is helpfully, location is very convenient (two minutes to S.Marco, ten to Academia), breakfast is good. Special thanks to Mr. Giovanny. Unreasonable fee for all, tough it depends on such unusual city.

Great location near all shops, walking distance to Piazza San Marco. Close to gondola service. Breakfast was good, many options. Clean, comfy bed. Shower pressure was terrible. A bit overpriced, just like anything in Venice.

Whilst not the cheapest Hotel, its location is excellent, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The bed room & bathroom were very clean and comfortable. We both enjoyed our stay (5 nights) and would recommend this Hotel.

I inadvertently left clothes in a drawer within our room and remembered about them when I returned to Ireland. I immediately contacted the hotel offering to pay for postage but they stated that the clothes would be returned immediately and payment would not be required. Nice touch. Nothing stands out in a negative way.
