Hotel Saturnia & International  

Excellent location as it is very near to San Marco and city centre. Also near to shops and thus good shopping location. Lots of restaurants around and very safe location especially if you have children. Hotel is very clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Venice.

the service was good and I enjoyed the location of the hotel.

I inadvertently left clothes in a drawer within our room and remembered about them when I returned to Ireland. I immediately contacted the hotel offering to pay for postage but they stated that the clothes would be returned immediately and payment would not be required. Nice touch.

The location was great, just a few minutes' walk to San Marco and right in the area where all the designer brands like gucci, Prada, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Ferragamo, Fendi etc have their stores. The hotel is just opposite Burberry. The room had lots of small rooms (hallway, bedroom, closet/bagage room, bathroom, shower room), and in total it was quite big compared to many other hotel rooms we stayed at during our week in Italy. It was however very dark, but it didn't bother us during the two nights we spent here. The hotel restaurant has Guide Michelin stickers for 2010 and 2011. We never tried it though as it was too formal for us.

I was disappointed in the breakfast which was below average, especially considering that the hotel aspires for a 4 star standard.

The hotel is very old with wonderfully interesting furniture/decor/ornamentation. The beautiful old world character adds to the Venice experience. The hotel is located quite close to St Mark's square, but is on a relatively quiet and attractive street. The staff were friendly, professional and all had excellent English.

The end of the bed didn't suit someone of my height. Had to sleep slightly diagonally. For the price I expected a larger room.

In the last years we knew the hotel when we havad meals there.but the localization is wonderful....,

Old world hotel in a fantastic location (easy to find) just minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. The room was fabulous and (best of all) "quiet", just what was needed after a long days sightseeing. Lovely breakfast in the mornings and staff were delightful..
