Hotel Seiler is less than a 10-minute walk from Termini Station in the heart of Rome. You will be surrounded by the city's best restaurants, bars, and shops. You can reach Repubblica Metro Station in just a 2 minute walk. The Trevi Fountain is just one metro stop or a pleasant walk away. The friendly staff at the Seiler Hotel will take great care of you. They can provide lots of useful tourist information. The hotel is set in a historic building, which dates back to 1885. Heating and air conditioning are available in the rooms on request. Location is very good, 10 minutes walk to Trevi Fountain, Termini Station and 15 minutes walk to Spanish Steps. Hotel rooms are big enough. I recommend this hotel for people who want to see all monuments of Rome whole day and night and to return to hotel only for sleeping. The furnitures are old. No mini-bar and poor breakfast. Lift didn't work while we stayed.

My son (12 years) and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in the end of October 2011. We spent two lovely days in Rome. My son just loved the place. The hotel was not so easy to find, but may be it was our own fault.. We think the hotel was very nice. A little bit old and tired, but ok for the price. And we were just going to sleep there! Nice look inside. And it smelled clean when we opened the door! It was a quiet hotel - not interrupted of the traffic not far away, and we could easily walk to all the nice things to see:)

The location was great.. Very very very dirty room, they could paint the walls,TOO tiny room,no fridge in the room,no light coming on from the window.they change our room because they said they are waiting a group and put us on a very depressive and dark room,we make complaints and they say not pay the taxes or change a hotel!what can I say?

The guy in the hotel was not nice to us..very rude!!!...He wont allow us to get in the hotel at 2am in the morning and we dont know why so we waited for like a couple more hours until he opened the door for us.it is very cold outside and we are freezing to death. He said that the police will go to their hotel if we keep knocking at the door and we have a reservation at the hotel. We are so frustrated!

Location is rather good: not far from Trevi fountain and near by Termini railway-station. Staff is friendly. Mostly we liked that our request to change the room was complied with immediately. 1. We were informed that we had to pay additional tax (2Э per person/ per night) only while leaving the hotel (not beforehand). 2. Some rooms are not rather comfortable.

1. The hotel is very expensive .We stayed in a ¨" double room "???? 2.The tv was not working. They promised us to change it or to find a new tv control. They told us that the problem was the tv control..They didnot fix the tv, they did not change it, they didnot gave us a new tv control.3.The telephone was not working, we could not communicate with the reception for any problem.4. The second day after our arrival, the elevator did not work.We had to go upstairs 4 floors, which you could count them for 8 floors, as the hotel is an old building.5.The breakfast was very poor.^.They promised us to make a better price, but before we leave they said no. We think that we must get our money back, as I have a problem with my left leg, I have been operated and I must never step stairs. As I came back home, I had to visit my doctor and now I am following a treatment with medicins and shots. It costed us a lot of money as we had to spent the evening satying out of the hotel as we could not watch any news. Also they have no internet, no telephone, so no communication.bad EXPERIENCE.We have denounced them to the Italian Organisation Of Tourism.

The location is perfect. If you look at only the price it's good. There was many bad points. Tv did not work, Wi-fi only if you stay next to reception, no coffee for breakfast. Rooms not very nice, showers disgusting. During stay we had to change the room as the first one was not acceptable. Second wasn't alot better.

The location is really great. One lady from the hotel can speak very good English and is very helpful, she can provide a lot of detailed and useful information about visiting Rome. The electric power went on and off several times during the night. The room does not look very clean, the shower room is way too small, and the door of the shower room is broken.

Hotel has a very good, central location. Its a 5 minute walk from the Termini station. From the hotel we walked to every tourist spot, spanish steps, vatican, collisseum etc etc. Breakfast is ok, but not much choice but what do you expect form a cheap and cheerful hotel. Stayed here twoce now. The hotel itself is a lovely building with a very grand front entrance. The room itself could have done with a lick of paint. The bed (a double) was more like a large single, me and the gf were quite squashed in it. Apart from that would stay again.

Staff was ok, the location of the hotel was superb and the prize wasn't bad. Staff was ok, our room wasn't. We got the only room that was in the basement. The breakfast room and staff toilets were next to our room and therefore the noise was outrageous. Basement room was also extremely cold in the winter time so showering wasn't too pleasent.

I liked breakfast , it was ok. Employees are kind and helpfull. It is really near to metro station, you can go everywhere easily. The only thing that I didn't like is that the room was smelling bad due to cigarette smoking and the room was small. If you don't care smoked rooms , you should stay there.

Easy to get to other locations around Rome Room was basic and overheated. Internet only works in reception. Needed to print travel document but hotel claimed that their reception computer was broken (not true). Look elsewhere.

My room was really clean and everything I need was ready.Staff called Alicia was so kind and tried to help me whenever I need.Location is so close to street called Nazionale and it is so easy to go around city from Via Nazionale. They were supposed to provide wi-fi but there was a problem with it and I could not use even for just once...Why didn' t they write about this? Wireless internet connection was one of the reasons I chose this hotel! Also male staff(tallest one) was so rude to tell me at night that I have to pay this "Rome city tax " bla bla.He even told me that I am lucky to stay at this hotel with this price...No comment...

The ambiance is good ,also very neat and tidy..felt safe in the hotel. WiFi doesn't reach the room work only in reception...also the morning breakfast was good but not peaceful as the women there don't care for there customer ..very rude and scream at the top of there voice without minding someone sitting there.... This was the only drawback .
