Close to most attractions, welcome map was handy as i do a lot of walking. Room was tidied every day and had a pleasant smell.
The entrance door was shut at night, every time someone came in it made a loud bang, although i was on the 4th floor it sounded really loud.
Breakfast was average
Good location (subway).
Cold water (shower). (maybe not prepared for too many people at same time.
The staff were helpful. The nearby restaurant on the L-bend a street away is good value for good food. Room worked OK.
Despite the imposing facade and entrance, the room was very small. Breakfast average.
reception personnel could be a little bit friendly very bad wi-fi connection
Easy to walk to major attraction.
Would like to have boiled eggs added for breakfast...
location , service.
breakfast, room quality
Location Quiet at night Hotel from the outside looks lovely.
Room was clean but basic Shower cubicle was tiny Decor was very tired inside the room.
The location is ideal, especially for the Terminus, Reppublica and the Borghese Gardens. The staff are friendly, and my single room, though small, was adequate.
Small things, like patchy wi-fi and the fact that a bedside light didn't work, nor was it fixed when I asked, means it fell a little short. The breakfast is really only good for a coffee and a croissant. Some fresh fruit would have made all the difference, but perhaps this is typical of this class of hotel.
Good central location. Easy access to all means of transportation. Quiet environment. Pleasant staff.
One insect bite. The rooms may require occassional fumigation.
Good location, near major attractions (walking distance)
excellent location friendly staff value for money airconditioning
small old fashioned TV practically only italian TV channels
The location was good, close to the Metro. The receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly. The bed linen was changed daily and the bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom was in need of upgrading. The breakfast was very basic.
The hotel is close to city center, situated in an ancient building. Friendly personnel, clean room.
The room is very small and requires redecoration. It is better not to open the windows, because they go out to the inner yard, close to other windows, beneeth the window there s a very noisy outter air conditioner.
We found the hotel was well located for walking to anywhere we wanted to. We invested in Omnia passes which proved excellent value for money so had good access to all transport . The staff were very friendly and available 24/7. Breakfast was good and served by helpful ladies. Lots of good food available locally and we usually ended our evening at the very friendly bar at the end of the road. Handy for strolling home!. Room cleaned to a high standard.. clean sheets and towels every day.
Quite noisy as across the road from The Ministry of Defence .Lots of traffic from early morning. mind you after walking miles in the heat we were pretty tired. It was fairly basic but adequate for a 5 day break. Also a large mirror in the room would have been handy.
Excellent location and reception service.
Poor wifi , super small bathroom
The staff was kind and helpfull and the location was near the train station
Too old hotel, the room was too small, dusty, smelly and terrible. The room was in the back of the building and when we opened the window we got all the smells and the noise from the other rooms, the airconditions from all around... The bathroom was full of mold and the towels had a smell of fries...I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of other hoter hotels in the area.
receptionists were always helpful and cheerful.
the stuff at the breakfast was not so attentive. poor quality breakfast. the shower could get better.
Lovely room, comfortable, with everything you need including adequate shower room, hair dryer and excellent air conditioning.
The shower had no curtain so the bathroom became wet very quickly. The breakfast was passable.
Staff is extremely kind and is always ready to help, even when I needed a bag of ice for my hurt knee! The room was big and confortable and it has a great location, right next to a metro station and it takes a 15min walk to the roman foro!
The breakfast is reasonable, but it could be improved. There were no cheese and ham and only one choise for salty bread.
The location is good, around 5-10min from metro station, other attractions and the supermarket. We booked a room for 3 people and the room was really big and comfortable. The staff was very friendly too.
The wifi connection wasn't that good in the room. It only worked well near the reception counter.
A great practical hotel choice which suited our short 24hr stay in Rome. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Both the air conditioning in the room and the extractor fan in the bathroom were incredibly noisy. The former being more inconvenient as on a hot August night in Rome it would have been nice to have the air con on but the racket it made rendered this impossible. Shame :-(
otherwise perfect for budget accommodation
lack of wifi. include savory breakfast choice- over abundance of sweets, sweet breads, pastries, suggary round cakes. tinned fruit
Room is nice and clean
breakfast is too simple and no much choices.
the staff were very friendly and helpful. the single room has its own bathroom. big bed for one person. great breakfast. highly recommended for budget travelers.
