Hotel Sempione  

Good value for money, comfortable for solo traveler or young couple. good breakfast, helpful staff. Design salon and restaurant good but not inside of room but sill ok. Not for honeymoon but recommend if you look for money value and comfortable/clean place.

Location is good - 10 min.walk both from Central station and Porta Garibaldi station. There is also a tramline and metro passing near by. If you are ready for a real economy class hotel - go for it!

We had a rather small room with an extremely small wardrobe. There wasn't a hair dryer in the bathroom, besides the the bathroom hygiene kit contained only a shower cap, multi-purpos shampoo un soap. The staff was very formal, no smiles in their arsenal.

location is good and the receptionist with glasses (a kind of big guy,who worked in the morning 25APR) is very polite and friendly.

The only good thing about this hotel is location.

All facilities are very old, rooms are tiny, the guy on reception seemed to know nothing of beeing polite, smiley and friendly.You can hear everything what is happening in the hallway and in the next room. Try to choose another hotel even if you need to spend there only one night this one is really overpriced for the services you get.

Location near to the metro so easy to get around Milan. The hotel room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Breakfast was not great. All the croissants had gone by the time we got down and they closed the door on the breakfast room sharp at 9.30am which is a little early if you are on holiday. The hotel room was very small with barely room to walk round the bed.

We stayed there for 2 nights, room 112, we had no hot water in the shower. Thanks to a restaurant nearby, it was a little bit noisy.

We liked the location because it's near the Metro station. Also the room was big as well as the double bed.

We didn't like the breakfast very much, also the room was smelling like cigarettes (the manager said it was because of the ventilation) and also the Wifi didn't have good reception on the 3rd floor. Althought it costs an extra 5 euros per 24h! Overall, you pay what you get..

The lobby has been renovated and looks very delicate. The room has not yet been tho. Staff are friendly and there is a doorman leading us to the room.

i travel a lot i have been many times in italy in milano but first time in hotel sempione and never come back!!!! the staff in the recepcion is very arrogant unkind and impolite

Unheated bathroom, minuscule, discharge nearly broken, in need of reform. Heating impossible to regulate, making the room very hot. Gypsum ceiling, where I touched everything had white dust. Receptionist extremely rude, just made ​​the check in, not informed about the breakfast, did not offer a map, we had to ask for a map, which he threw on the counter. Breakfast very bad, just old products and low quality. In the breakfast room there was a person who worked at the hotel which was staring the guests, checking and commenting on what they ate with the person who served the coffee about the guests was dressing and what they was eating or doing. Extreme rudeness and without courtesy in absolutely everything.
