Hotel Sole al Pantheon  

Wonderful accommodation for my family of 4. Picture-perfect view of the Pantheon from the windows and the small balcony. Restaurants and gelato within steps of the door. Short to moderate walk to all the sites of central Rome. Extremely professional and responsive staff and a very nice breakfast.

The only downside was that the air conditioning unit for our suite in the annex building couldn't really compete against the extreme heat of the day (just about 100f), although it cooled the room very nicely after sunset. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, although if it is equally hot, we just won't bother to come back until the evening.

brilliant location in city centre. I stayed in room 312 with a grest view of the Pantheon.

Friendly staff, charming atmosphere, the breakfast was very nice and the hotel is perfectly situated for a weekend in Rome.

The rooms are nice but they could do with a fresher look . Although they were clean, little details like the very old and dusty air-con unit could be improved.

perfect location, great staff, rooms clean and well kept. large room by rome standards. great air conditioning. One of the best breakfast buffets I have ever had. absolutely no complaints! Would definitely stay there again!

We where on our honeymoon and the hotel came with a botle of sparkling wine to us. The hotel is next to the Pantheon, so the location is superb.

I miss that the hotel bar was not open.

Location and room with a view.Excellent. Very nice stuff, the hotel is clean and "with style".

Because it's situated at the square (piazza) with a lot of bars an restaurants, this hotel not recommended for those, who want a peace and quite night.

It is the best location in front of the Pantheon. (It means high security by police all the times, and some street attractions.) I felt much safe during the trip. It was good convenience to visit different place because many taxies are waiting in front of the hotel. The taxi driver never lose the hotel location. Hotel staffs are honest, friendly, and willing to help travellers. It was 4 stars hotel, but 3 stars price and 5 stars service. Excellent. Only thing I want to mention is limited wifi.

Perfect setting opposite the Pantheon, which we felt justified the price, fabulous to go to sleep to the sound of the milling late night crowds and saxaphone playing, perfect view of the piazza. Our front facing room had a lovely frescoed ceiling and although the bathroom was small it had every facility. Breakfast was lovely with very helpful staff. Reception was variable but this did not spoil our stay, would definately book again.

Made to feel very welcome, staff very helpful and very safe with easy access to all the main sites in Rome..thoroughly enjoyed. I stayed on a recomendation and will recommend to others!
