Hotel Sole al Pantheon

Location is excellent in the middle of old Rome and too close to Pantheon square which is full of life all day. Also the family suite we stayed in (which was not in the hotel main building) was spacious , quiet and very comfortable with nice furniture.

For this big family suite , one bathroom is not enough. A second one should be provided .

Hotel located in the heart of Rome in the same piazza as the Pantheon (hotel on left side if facing the Pantheon). Wonderful breakfast and eggs cooked to order if requested. Easy walking distance to almost all attractions, except the Vatican which was an easy, short, bus ride away.

The tile floor in room 106 (has great front view of the Pantheon when you look left out the window) needed a thorough mopping...the bottom of my white socks were dark gray after a 3-night stay.

The location, the service and especially the breakfast

Location was superb, staff could not have been any friendlier -- I was staying for just 1 night and got a really inexpensive rate via booking.com. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the architecture was amazing -- I got a spacious room with a double/queen sized bed which is rare by Italian standards when you book for a "single room".

air conditioning didn't work -- so it was a bit warm but with the window open, I was just fine

The location can't be beat. Excellant location.

Front desk staff not as friendly as other hotels we stayed at. Service staff was excellant, very helpful and friendly. The room was Very Hot at night. Difficult to sleep. Outside temp and hallway temps were not hot. Asked to have it cooled down. Never got any better, even with the windows open.

very well located for sights and for evenings out. excellent breakfast, well furnished and comfortable rooms. helpful and friendly staff. we were a family party of seven with ages ranging from 60+ down to 18, unanimous approval, couldn't fault it. Look no further !

We loved the Sole al Pantheon, its 25 years since I stayed there and it has been beautifully upgraded while still retaining the wonderful old interior. The breakfasts were as lovely as the service was charming. The gentlemen manning the reception were exemplary in help and suggestions for good restaurants and made our stay a real pleasure. Localização excelente; alguns quartos com excelente vista sobre a praça e o Panteão.

Há quartos com janela para páteos interiores. Esse assunto deveria ser bem explícito.

Prettig ,rustig doch centraal gelegen hotel met een goed verzorgd ontbijt! Voorkomend personeel!

De kamers hebben nauwelijks garderobe-ruimte, vaak een nis met een gordijn ervoor. De bedden zijn echt aan vervanging toe!

a recepciós férfi kedvessége, a londínerfiú mindenre kiterjedő figyelme, szoba berendezése. Megkérdezték, hogy merre néző szobát kérek, a kilátás fantasztikus a Panteonra, az ablakból lehet csodálni a tér fantaszikus hangulatát. Az ágy kényelme. Miközben a belvárosban van, mégis nyugodt.

La posizione e' eccellente, nel cuore della citta' a due passi dai posti piu' belli da visitare a Roma.Il carattere storico dell' hotel aggiunge valore al soggiorno.L'offerta last minute e' stata vantaggiosa, senza questa offerta non avrei scelto questo albergo.

1) le informazioni che mi sono state date sull'accesso all'hotel con l'auto non sono state sufficienti.Nonostante avessi avvertito che sarei arrivata con la mia auto il personale alla reception non e' stato in grado di spiegare in termini chiari il sistema del "ZTL" e cosa dovevo fare per evitare multe salate. Non vivo in Italia e avrei preferito che mi fosse stato indicato un 'web link' o che mi fosse stato dato un leaflet con le informazioni necessarie.2) Spesso ho dovuto attendere per avere un tavolo per la colazione, visto che c'erano piu' clienti che tavoli disponibili. Credo che questo non sia veramente accettabile per un albergo a 5 stelle.
