What a nightmaire!!! The worst hotel ever...Old, dirty, noizy, smely..We were newly-weds and we want a good four stars **** hotel to stay in! We pay for a room with 19m and they gave as a 9m!!! The wall was fool of stinks, I found a gam in our blunket and our shetts have holes!!!! I open the window to take some fresh air and we smell the oil of a restaurant above! The next day I call the reception and they tell as they were very sorry but they could not help as..And something else!! The pictures in the site are not from this HOTEL..they are fake..only one room is like that, and you should make a search before using them! I will never -ever sujest it to anyone...not even as a free stay!!!!!!!!! Four stars???? Lets lought...... There was nothing good in it....what an alfoul hotel!!!

Clean, affordable, near the universities. Very small room. Breakfast was fine but nothing amazing. My biggest issue was not that anything was wrong - it was perfectly clean, service was decent, and everything worked - it's that it was advertised as a 4 star but should be a 3 star. There's no gym or pool; the lobby is small and noisy, the restaurant was not open - I just don't understand how it got a 4 star listing.

there were nice thing expected from a 4* hotel. the ventilation was nice first: The first night we were given a room, well below street level, with a problem shower, which spread water all the way to the room. that was why the flooring of the room was badly damaged (before our stay, not by us). we asked for a change of rooms and got one the next night. the area is not recommended after dark (e.g. prostitutes, pimps, dark alleys). there was also a try to make me pay for some things from the minibar, which was resolved in my favor (i comsumed something, but replaced in a few hours. those things were billed, but not replenished. at the end of the stay the fridge was filled by me, but the bill existed). I do not recomand beacause of the area.

Hotel St. Paul is very close to Metro station (8 minute walk), which is convenient for going to the city center, and back - you need 15 minutes to Colosseum, and 20 to Termini station. There are several pizzerias, trattorias, shops, McDonald's, and other places around the hotel where you can eat and drink. The surrounding is nice and pleasant, even during the night - no problems at all regarding safety. The hotel is clean, modern, with helpful and polite staff. Breakfast is great, abundant and various. There is Wi-Fi internet, free of charge, in hotel lobby. Hotel has four stars, but it costs the same like 3 stars hotels which look quite poorer and older. So, it's a great bargain for the money you pay for staying there. The thing that bothered me was the fact that there were only several Italian channels on TV in our room (all the movies and foreign shows have synchronized voice) . But, even on them I wasn't able to watch any Calcio football matches played that weekend, since TVs in the rooms hadn't any cable channels, only regular ones. The other problem is size of the room - they are quite small. Furthermore, my girlfriend wasn't able to smoke in the entire hotel, so she had to walk outside the building to have a cigarette.

The worst staff I had never seen. I will never suggest anybody staying this hotel. When I arrived my room which is very different from my request, I asked reception to change the room but the only answer he gave me is "no, we don't have anyother room", and I asked change room paying with difference of the price and the answer was still "no, I can not show you, it's not possible" I am tourst guide so I travel a lot but this is real real bad one!!!

i loved the design of the hotel: it was very modern in its design and the decor in the room. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and helpful. We were in rome for a wedding and on route to the church my friend left something in a taxi . The hotel staff tracked down the taxi and the item was returned to the hotel. The staff showed their professionalism patience and their commitment to us during this process. The breakfast was beautiful with a mixture of hot food and Continental: lots of variety and the breakfast room was modern in its decor and the staff very nice and helpful. The hotel was excellent value for money : it was very affordable and for the price you got excellence and modern decor . Don't be put off that's its a few metro stops from termini metro stop it only takes 10-15 mins to get to termini and the metro is so cheap and easy to use very straight forward. There is a restaurant/cafe beside the hotel and its very cheap we got a sandwich and a drink for lunch for 4 euro excellent value and it was delicious and again the staff here were very helpful and friendly. nothing everything was excellent

Not much ther are much better hotels in Rome Not a 4 star hotel at best a 2 star. The lobby looks nice but the rooms are very basic. The fotos on teh website on represent the small and worn rooms well. The wireless is very expensive at 5 Euro an hour The breakfast looks plundered so the last fews days I skipped the breakfast and went for a decent coffee in one of the many fine cafes that Rome has The walk to the metro is either 650 or 750 meters

Good value for money given our stay was around the X'mas period. Good breakfast. A bit cold at night bc warmer / air-con seemed being pre-set and not functioning during our stay. Location a bit difficult to find bc it is located in a small road parallel to the main road and behind the university. Lucky a university student offered his assistance to us. We requested for a map from the hotel but it was not too helpful. Must ask around especially when you are trying to locate the hotel when it is dark.

A very friendly hotel. All of the staff were speaking English, even the maid . Clean and nice. Very helpful staff. The breakfast was very good, everything was in place. Nice rooms. Even if the location is in a suburb area, You are in the city centre in a very short while. 800 m to the metro and the bus 170 just around the corner. Overall we were very satisfied and can recommend St Paul.

Cleanliness. The only missing was wifi for internet access. This is an old facility every where, why you do not have it. Your question in this page are 20 (not 4), please change your calculator
