We used the hotel as a base for Pisa and Cinque Terre and it was an very good choice. An excellent location, close to the sea with lots of good restaurants within a short walking distance. The hotel provided a parking permit to allow street parking. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good rooms, clean and an excellent breakfast. Very good value and highly recommended.

- Outstanding breakfast: fresh fruit every day! - The hotel staff was sevice oriented - Clean, modern and well maintained hotel (lobby, rooms, garden etc.) - Nearby train station and boulevard of Viareggio - Hotel is located in the most cosy neighbourhood of Viareggio (between market, restaurants, harbour and boulevard). - The cleaning of the rooms start quite early (around 08:30). This may cause a bit noise

We loved everything about the Hotel. The location was perfect. The room was very comfortable. The full breakfast was over the top, a 10 in every respect. Lucca helped us with a side trip to Torre del Lago. Claudia (I believe that was her name) helped us arrange a meeting with my family. When we return to Viareggio, we will definitely stay at Hotel Tirrenia. There was nothing we didn't like. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

Convenient location, clean, quiet. Half-block from the beach/boardwalk. Easy, 10 minute walk from the train station. Good breakfast, fresh and lots of variety. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly, familly run hotel very near to the beach and all facilities of Viareggio. Very clean, very well maintained , breakfast superb, hotel bikes great and cheap to hire. A wonderful hotel with knowledgable staff.

Within walking distance of railway station and close to beach.Room compact with good air conditioning. Water in shower cubicle drains directly into tiled floor & easily overflows into the rest of bathroom area. Breakfast quite superb with selection of fresh fruits second to none. Staff very friendly and attentative. Use of local private beach area was appreciated.

The owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Upon our arrival, they provided loads of information about the resort of Viareggio. They also noticed when recording our passport details that it was my birthday & when we returned from a walk, there was a bottle of wine in our room as a present! They also opened their breakfast room 45 minutes early to cater for us on our departure day. Excellent hospitality!

From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. Having not been to Italy before we were given a basic history and culture lesson of the area by the owner in very good English might I add. The breakfast for buffet breakfast was very extensive well presented with something for everyone. Towels in your very own beach bag and a deal with a local beach owner available on request. Overall excellent can highly recommend and will definitely use again.

The welcome by the hotelier who because we arrive early stored our luggage then when we booked in had taken the luggage up to the room for us.The breakfast was excellent in both choice and quality. It is also close to the main bus station and convenient for the beach and main boulevard. Highly recommended.

We travelled here for 2 days in August. Hotel is a 3 star fair value for money. Excellent staff & service. Easy parking facilities provided by the hotel, as well as beachtowels and free wifi. My believe best value in that region, but do not expect a 5 star accomodation. Bathroom is really 'basic'.

Claudia was great and very helpful. Gave good advice on visiting Cinque Terre and Pisa. Both an easy shot by train from this hotel. The hotel reminded us of a SB, Miami, FL. Deco boutique facility.The breakfast was great, especially the fresh fruit.

I loved this hotel from the moment I walked in and encountered the helpful and friendly manager. My room on the first floor was spacious and bright with a double aspect and a little balcony. The whole hotel has a bright and airy feel to it, with a lovely outdoor sitting area. The breakfast was outstanding with enough variety to have something different every day for a week. I’d stayed the previous 3 nights in Florence and was going on to Lucca for 2 nights but wished I’d stayed in the Tirrenia for the whole week and travelled to the other cities. Thoroughly recommended. I cannot fault this hotel for the price.

The hotel was small only 15 rooms. The size probably gave it the 3 star status as everything else was definitely 4 star. The owners were so friendly and very helpful with information for the train travel we did while there. The breakfast was very good with loads of fresh fruit, hot and cold food and any kind of coffee you could wish for . The shower was small and the hairdryer got hot when using it, although there was a bathroom on the landing that had a big walk in shower and an easy to use hairdryer. .

We had a lovely stay in viareggio,a beautiful place.Hotel was first class, good breakfast, clean rooms,big fluffy towels,and very friendly and helpful owners.It was a delight!! Nothing to complain about.Thankyou to everyone.
