near the train station breakfast on the patio close to restaurants
safe didn't work and nobody fixed it only italian channels on TV few toiletries for a 4 star many features in poor state, safe and shower door needed fixing, bed was 2 cots on a wire frame needed updating
SALVATORRE was great and terrific host at the reception desk!
The breakfast was satisfactory as long you arrived early before the eggs or pastries were gone. The coffee was wonderful and the breakfast staff very accommodating. Location to train station was convenient.
The safe never worked, the tv did not have any other languages except italian stations, but there were many different nationalities staying there. Many items in the room were in a state of ill repair. The bed was two wire cots put together, no box spring. Definitely not a 4 star for the cost.
breakfast on the roof
Very convenient to public transportation
Location is great, just couple of blocks away from Roma Termini. Hotel is also close to Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica.
Breakfast menu was the same for the 3 nights we stayed in the hotel. Bathroom is also a bit dirty.
EXCELLENT location. Metro is a block and the train station is the same. Staff is exceptional. Plenty of places to eat around there. Go to PASTA LOVERS - about 4 blocks. One of the best places in Rome - U will not be disappointed
Not a four star. A 3 star at best. Little overpriced.
The hotel has a beautiful roof garden, where they serve breakfasts; staff is helpful and kind. Nice location, a lot of restaurants around, opera is very close.
Location to train station
Overpriced for what you get. After 24 hr flight and dropping bags off at 9:30 in the morning, asked if coffee was available. Breakfast was still being served. Front desk said not available until the next morning. Generally front desk personnel seemed too busy to assist and arrogant.
Bedroom ok Price a litle
wifi is not much available Not enough bathroom supplies? Always have to insist to get some
Air on didn't work and night staff couldn't help. Poor water flow in the morning
Quaintness of facility and quality of breakfast. Reminded us of old- time European hotel. Many good restaurants in vicinity and main train station was conveniently close. Front desk person was very friendly and informative.
Room was small and in need of updating/renovation, particularly bathroom.
The breakfast is good. The location is excellent close to the Termini station. The hotel is well maintained and is clean.
One of the stuffs at the reception had little time to talk to me. He could possibly have been a little more friendly. The wi-fi was slow a few times though mostly it worked average.
Décor, Location, Secure. Loved the quiet of the rooftop balcony. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was molto bueno!
Had a cpl issues with the toilet, no bolts holding it down. 3'd day began leaking but was repaired that day, finally. Mattress was a little worn.
Location is great.
The hotel in general is over rated, it can be 3 stars but never 4 stars. The wifi is very bad in the lobby but good in rooms. the food was normal without many varaities.
The breakfast view.
Bed bugs, wasp infestation, rude staff, staff trying to put me in a different room to my wife and kids, a refusal to consider an early check in, saying that they would provide a cot, but not doing so, then refusing to look for one (despite this being on our original booking). I wouldn't stay here again if it was the last hotel available in Italy.
Location is the best feature of this hotel, it's so close to termini it makes traveling that much easier. I generally like the atmosphere especially at breakfast on the rooftop terrace.
Size of the room, poor wifi reception
The hotel was close to the city center. The reception hall is nice. The cleaning personel works well. Breakfast on the roof was a nice location
This hotel is maximum a three star. The wifi was poor. The building and the rooms are old (espacially the walls) and smelly It smells urine in the street and a building close to the hotel makes ventilation noise Airco and TV are old The breakfast is minimal The personnel at reception is not in good mood The hotel is expensive for the services offered
Excellent location and staff are nice and helpful.Good value for money and breakfast is good.
Wifi very weak in the room
- accessibility, near railway station and metro station
- old furniture - poor comfort - bad smell in the room - the report quality-price is very low - location full of pickpockets
The Torino Hotel was comfortable and the staff very friendly. The reception, downstairs lounge and the breakfast area on the roof very comfortable and inviting.
In my view, the rooms did not match up to the four star rating it claims.
Huge breakfast buffet, lots of choice and plenty of space to sit. Room was a generous size. Nice big bath towels.
If you sit outside for breakfast be warned that birds walk all over the tables. Rooms could have been cleaner. Rooms have a small fridge but it was crammed with minibar items.
What called my attention in booking.com when I made the reservation was the good cost benefit relationship. However this hotel should not be classified as a 4 stars. With goodwill it should be a 3 stars or even a guesthouse. When we arrived the desk attendant did not speak English, only Italian. The breakfast is very, very poor. The size of the bedroom was not bad but the king bed was a conjunction of two single bed with a joint in the middle, very uncomfortable.I had to gain of a stair with 5 steps with heavy luggage with no help from the hotel concierge.Lucky of us that the access to our bedroom was directly from the elevator level but there are apartments which there are again stairs to gain to achieve them.Cleaning was also poor
great location easy transport links friendly staff good restaurants nearby good breakfast
noisy street hotel needs a bit of up grading hot water for tea not hot enough no tea facilities in rooms
