We were looking for a one night stay before we caught the cruise ship the next day. It was a great place for that. It had a very nice bath and shower and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was welcomed. The room included breakfast that was very nice and a free shuttle bus went right to the ship and ran from 8am to 12:30 pm. It was a nice van and great service. By the way this shuttle would also pick you up from the ship if you needed a place to stay after the cruise. The location was in the center of town and we had time to take a walk before our shuttle time. It is in a nice area and close to local restaurants and shopping. Even a local produce market. An intresting area and a pleasent stay.

We have stayed at Hotel Traiano four times in the past six years. The rooms are incredibly spacious - they are typically suites. Although not plush - they have good amenities for a European hotel. We always enjoy the European feel - and the delicious breakfast and pastries. Location is convenient - and they have free shuttle service to the cruise port. The main reason we stay is the wonderful staff! I'm sure we will choose the hotel next time we cruise from Rome too!

Our room was enormous. The decor was very upscale. The hotel was in a great location, near the train station. It was very easy to take the train into Rome for the day. The hotel had an amazing buffet in the morning including a coffee bar. The free shuttle bus to and from the cruise boat was a must for our family, and we were able to park our van at the hotel for the duration of the cruise at a much cheaper rate than we could get at the pier. Unfortunately the beds were rock hard. Not comfortable for a much needed night's sleep.

Offered coplimentary suttle to the cruise port, nice breakfast, and had airport transfers cheaper than other companies. The room was clean but not at all comfortable. For the amount of money charged for the room it should of had a decent bed and pillows. The dinning room was also very small for the amount of people being served. We had to wait for a table and were then very uncomfortably squeezed into a corner.

We stayed at Hotel Traiano after our cruise. The ship was late returning to port, so the shuttle could not stay to pick us up. We ended up getting directions & walking to the hotel from the port, about a 15 minute walk. When we got to the hotel, they upgraded us to a suite. The next morning we had to leave by 7:00 to get to the airport and they had opened the breakfast buffet early for us. The staff was very helpful. The shower doors did not seal well, and water leaked all over the floor of the bathroom. The bed was very hard.

We appreciated the free shuttles to the ship and especially to your sister hotel restaurant. We were totally impressed when at the conclusion of our meal our server drove us back to the hotel.

Terrible Front Desk Service. Rude and confrontational. Do not use their van pick-up service. They will not show up and then they will try to charge you if you use another taxi/van service. Location close to port. Rooms nice. Staff Awful, rude, not Helpful. If you love crazy and drama this is the Front Desk Staff for You.

We were leaving on a cruise. This hotel furnished transportation from the airport, served a breakfast and was reasonably priced. Hotel staff was very friendly, spoke good English, and were very informative about the area and things to do. Next time we are in the area we will stay there again.

Staff was very helpful & friendly. Good value for a very basic hotel. Breakfast (included) was good. They provide a free shuttle to port to embark on our cruise - this was very handy.. We arrived very late so no chance to pick up snacks/water/drinks and they dont proivde a bar bridge or water (at a cost). Bathroom could do with an upgrade

Only twenty minutes to walk there from the train station if you don't mind lugging your suitcase, certainly do-able. We had a lovely spacious room. If you stay prior to a cruise, the hotel has a free shuttle which takes you right up to the check-in point - very much appreciated!

We were very pleased with the hotel which was excellent value for a stopover precruise. The four bedded room was spacious, very clean and offered a kitchenette plus washing machine. Also a sauna which we didn't use. We were given free parking, wifi and a time for our free transfer to the port where our driver dropped us right beside our ship. The free breakfast was basic but adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would be happy to stay here again.

Cruise Ship pickup and/or transfer. Close to City Centre for shopping. Breakfast was great. Staff were excellent and even offered a good discount for transfer to fco Airport. Some very good Pizza/Italian Restaurants close at hand and the Supermarket, a short walk downtown, has very good food, wine and beer at cheap prices. Everything worked out fine. The cruise terminal pickup was a little late due to a mis-communication to the driver but was actioned before the heat of the day.
