Proximity to Lucca and other areas such as Florence No hot water on the first morning, our room was not cleaned on the first morning. Breakfast room was small for the amount of people staying at the hote. |

I liked the whole atmosphere of being in Italy and the friendliness of the Italian people I think that more rooms need to be updated as some of them are a bit tired. There were ten of us staying there at the same time so we saw a good cross section of rooms |

On one day, no hot water. Breakfast - same choices every morning. My room, was clean but was not carpeted. The hotel state they have a bar but this is not manned. Reception staff informed our group that there were no toilets on the ground floor - there was. |

It was clean and had an old world charm to it. It was very close to the train station, which was huge for us as we used the trains exclusively. The breakfast was excellent. It had many different options. The fresh kiwi was awesome! The coffee that was served in the morning with the breakfast was not very good. It tasted like instant! Our morning coffee is important to us, so we were disappointed. |

Good central location and ok faded grandeur. Noise from air condioning a nightmare and noise outside for two hours from 4.30am. Meant to be a superior room but view of back yard (with rubbish!) a let down. Avoid Room 49! Had to return to uk early but seems no chance of a partial refund. Restaurant next door snooty and very expensive. |

Very beautifull and luxury hotel in the centre of the town on the central square of Luca.. Very near to all the main attractions of Luca. No parking available at the hotel because hotel is on the square so kind of difficul to find by car. |

We had a pleasant stay. The athmospfere is great, as is the city og Lucca. It is history in the walls. Our room was a little small, but good enough. The soundisolation between the rooms and to the corridor could be better espessially if you are on a honeymoon. We were not. |

Location Bathrooms are too small and very dated - the whole place is in need of renovation. It is also very noisy as it is on the square and the windows do not have secondary glazing |

Location was the most important feature. The hotel was right in the heart of Lucca, yet the surroundings gave a feeling of space and minimal traffic intrusion |

Hotel was located within the walls of Lucca which made for easy access to everything in the town. No iron available anywhere in the hotel. |

Well located in old city of Lucca, close to all sights and train station. Clean and spacious room, modern bathroom. Helpful staff. Many restaurants nearby. |
