Great location in the old town, close to the river, restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly.
Breakfast was meagre.
Quiet room to an alley. Safe in the room.
To far away. Light outside the room was always out somewear and had to be ordered by the staaf.
Close to all atractions, we were awake at seven every morning due to the powerful bells in the Campanile one block away. The room was cold and drafty but the shower had plenty of hot water. Towels were changed every second day. Awful breakfast, breadrolls and poor coffe but the location and the view from the terass on 6:th floor is worth a lot and the price was low.
Breakfast and the low temperature in the room (october and no central heating).
Great Location and we were also able to leave our baggage in a secure room for a few hours after check out
Arrived at 2.30am and there was someone on reception waiting for us to arrive. Breakfast consisted of cereals, croissants, rolls, yoghurt, orange juice and a variety of hot drinks which were all very nice
Apart from the great position, clean, good sized room and simple but always fresh breakfast, we appreciated the friendly and helpful service provided by the reception staff. We also found a great restaurant and a very good pizzeria within fifty metres from the hotel.
Could do with some more maintenance to put right some minor things which tend to detract from an otherwise great experience.
The location and breakfast were good.
The bathroom was not clean, shower box was so small and had problem. Toilet seat was loose. Walls had spider web.
Staff looking overworked appearing to have had a very long shift and wanting to go home, not a smile, nor a welcome. Washroom smelly and not clean, shower head in urgent need of replacement. Price much too high for what this hotel offers and its need of updating.
Decoration of the rooms; comfort of the bed; view; location; scale.
Toilet seat was loose; wall was scuffed. Washcloth was not provided.
Excellent position walking distance to the Leaning Tower and also to the pedestrianised part of the city. Good sized room and nice to have double aspect windows. Comfortable bed and clean ensuite facilities. Parking in the square was possible at 7euros although if we hadn't been leaving first thing for our flight we would have had to move and find somewhere on street.
Breakfast staff not friendly - in fact seemed pretty miserable! Breakfast not brilliant - the bread rolls were those part-baked sort which hadn't been baked enough and poor choice of fruit juice. The reception smelt strongly of cigarettes due to the staff constantly standing smoking in the doorway.
liting in the room - too dark not much choices of breakfast meal
Good distance from the leaning tower. Good spaghetteria nearby. Hotel and our room was outdated and dark. Breakfast was really poor.
Good wifi connection excellent breakfast .. Friendly staff
We where on the 3rd floor and my son complained the wifi was slow when he tried to watch videos
Breakfast was not of a good standard. Decor was very dated. Room was dark.
Clean, nice rooms, acceptable price for non students, good location, nice building.
Good value, liked location - walking distance to railway and town attractions
Breakfast. Shower drainage was plugged-off.
Good location in centre of town.
Difficult parking in the close proximity to hotel. Air conditioning in room not very effective.
Quite far from both from the train station and Leaning tower.
The location of the hotel was central to the old town and very close to the new town. The hotel was clean but run down, could do with a revamp. The rooms were cleaned everyday and towels refreshed which was really nice.
The breakfast was exactly the same every morning and to have the same breakfast 3 days in the row put you off. It was fresh sweet bread every morning and it was a machine that gave water for tea and coffee but needed to be pressed quite a few times to get your quota! The room we were in could do with a face lift and the paint was coming of the ceiling and the shower went from very cold to very hot! Be careful of that!
The location, the kindness of the staff and the bit old fashion comfort were really appreciated.
very good location
