The bathroom had been Remodeled, upgraded, including tile. The location was too far away from the sites we wanted to visit. The hotel was run down; the carpets were dirty, walls were in need of paint and repair and the furniture was in poor condition. I was going to ask to change rooms but feared they may all be like that. No one asked me if my room was satisfactory, if they had, it would have provided an opportunity for me to have a more favorable experience .

The hotel is situated near one of the main roads leading to the city center, but the neighborhood was very quiet and green. Bus line 62 (passing through the Centro Storico all the way to Vatican, what takes less than 30 minutes if there is no heavy traffic) is only 5 minutes by foot. There were also several bus lines on Via Nomentana in the immediate hotel's vicinity. It takes 15 minutes of easy walking to reach metro station Bologna. The hotel has a nice garden and very friendly staff. The options at the buffet breakfast were not very rich (cheese, ham, butter and marmalade), but nevertheless it was enough (including espresso and its variations). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The walls need some painting. The bed was large - too large for the room. The room had little free space. The bathroom was large, except for the shower. The shower curtain was dirty.

Very enjoyable stay, nice rooms, friendly staff. Whilst not in the centre it's only a short walk to the metro & then 3 stops to the main part of the city. I would recommend to anyone.

Nicely decorated, clean rooms. Very polite and helpful staff. We wanted to change our room as the one reseved for us was on the side of the street (which is one of the big streets in Rome and is quite busy/noisy) and there was no problem. We were offered a room in the other part of the hotel. That was very nice. Even our luggage was moved to a new room without any fee. The location is not the best even though it is quite close to the center. It took us around 30 min to get to the city center due to heavy traffic in Rome. This caused us a bit of stress. There are several buses going to the city but it takes time to get there...

I hve stayed at the hotel many times over 8 years. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. However when Iarrived Iwas allocate room 23 whch has minimal space in the bathroom. When I expressed my discontent Iwas allocated a superior room number 29 at additional cost 20€ per night which I was happy to pay. The hotel set in beautiful ground has a nice family atmosphere. Whilst not located in the centre I consider this a benefit. I enjoy using thre local buses and the nearby metro at Bologna

This family-owned small hotel in a converted 19th century property is located in the leafy lanes of Rome's diplomatic quarter, which with its grand villas and broad boulevards is an attractive stomping ground in its own right, but is also within easy reach by bus of both the main station and the historic sights. Set back from the road in its own green garden, the hotel was a pleasant retreat from the heat of a Roman summer. My room was small, but contained everything I needed, the staff were unfailingly helpful, the breakfast perfectly adequate for the style of hotel (including cooked to order options for a modest supplement) and the special deal which I booked represented unbeatable value for money. The tv seemingly offered hundreds of channels, but all of them were Italian as far as I could work out.

Room was clean, bathroom very nice, great shower! Large bed compared to many European hotels, nice breakfast which includes coffee/expresso. Outdoor seating areas very nice. Solo female traveler, and I felt safe walking in the neighborhood even late at night. Getting around on bus/metro is easy, but be prepared for a wait on the bus, sometimes 20 minutes. There is a large grocery store only a 5 minute walk away, and there is a minifridge in the room. Hotel staff would not answer a direct question about getting to a regular store, instead they tried to sell me on very overpriced diet coke from them.

The hotel is located nicely to the city buses, the metro and not too far from Termini. The staff was very friendly as well. Take bus 90 to get to the hotel!! Don't take a cab!! They try to charge you 30 Euro for a 3Km drive!! The free breakfast was nice as well. Bathroom was really small

Hotel's personel was of great help and availability. The area where the hotel was located was a good residential area, not far from the city historic center (from 15 to 30 minutes by bus). The room was nice and the hotel looked good and professional, whilst the garden was very nice. The walls could use some painting and could be more sound proof. I mean, one could really hear what his neighbours were doing. Another thing that was not so ok was the fact that the bathroom was so small that one could have taken the shower while... brushing the teeth.

Really loved the area - gave a country feel with all the green trees, shrubs and garden area around outdoor seating area. Did not feel like the road was outside the door. Room was a good size and really like the older style setting of furniture, window shutters etc. Staff very helpful.

The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. It has airconditioning, small fridge and midrange bath. The hotel has a beautiful little garden around it,that protects the hotel building from the hot Italian sun. We would recommend this hotel to any who'd love to stay in Rome in cosy and quiet atmosphere. The rooms on the ground floor was a bit noisy in the morning when other guests take breakfast in the garden. The breakfast was really nice but basic. The location is a bit far from historic center, however, if you like to walk a lot, it is not a problem.

The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was spacious/luxurious I didn't like the fact that you need to pay for the wi-fi, or the fact that it was somewhat of an inconvenience to use public transportation (I needed to take the bus)

The service is great and so nice! The rooms are incredibly clean and the guest can really feel taken care of. Room no 2 is extremely small, but well planned. But I would not recomend it for obese people as they might have problems getting to the toilet ;-)

“The location and the price offered. Plus the staff speak sufficient english and are very polite and helpful. The Buffet breakfast is very good and has good choice so to start a day on a good start, plus the staff in the breakfast area are jolly and polite. This was our second stay in the hotel and we would recommend it to any couple looking for a central hotel. Hotel trevi is close to all the main places one should visit.” Jacqueline, Mosta |
