Good location close to the centre of Florence (about 25 min walk), yet a rather quiet street. Lovely interior (e.g. painted ceilings) and garden. Good breakfast. Parking possible in the garden for little extra cost. No elevator, but did not bother us. |

Most of the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was of a good size and it was clean. Quiet at night given it was only a 10 minute walk from the centre. The rom was very basic and had no real facilities or luxeries. The breakfast was a rather poor offering of low end ham and cheese with a suprpising amount of cake available and coffee that was undrinkable. I also thought it a bit cheeky to charge 15 euros a night to park you car in the car park, especially when the car park is the 'English Garden' they use as part of the sales pitch. They do mention the charge in the hotel spiel at least. All in all whilst it was just ok. I felt disapointed that the actual hotel didn't live up to it's billing. |

Very good breakfast, the hotel a little bit far from the center (20min walk). The parking is expensive 15euro per day |

I liked the ambiance and style of decoration, the frescos, the small garden. I liked the nice new bathroom, central air conditioning, and mini-bar. I liked the selection of foods for breakfast. I liked the pleasant desk clerk who welcomed us, and made our dinner reservation. I did not like the fact that there was no hot water on the night I stayed there nor was there hot water in the morning. |

Beautiful old building from late 19th century, grand main staircase and immensely high ceilings, bedroom with a painted 'fresco'. Ask for Room 25 - it is the best room as it has a balcony. Staff very helpful. I liked it - but soem people may not. Don't stay if you want a hotel restaurant (it only does breakfast - but a very good one). It's also a bit noisy as it's near a busy road - but then you can't have everything. Don't stay here if you like modern anonymous hotels - if you like something with a bit of original character then it's for you. |

Hotel chosen via Trip Adviser. Did not want to be in city centre but within 10 minute walk. Looked for a hotel with appropiate architecture and style. Reasonable price with the bonus of a double room for single occupancy. Excellent breakfast. Curteous, helpful reception staff. Clean bedrooms with antique style furniture. Very pleased with our choice. Like most English people we would have appreciated coffee/tea facilities in the room. However coffee etc was available at reception. |

Spacious rooms, good breakfast, nice area. No elevator, too many stairs (the equivalent of a fith floor) for a mature couple to go up and down carrying your luggage (no help at all); after complainig and waiting, were allocated a nice room on the ground floor. |

Laura was an excellent employee of the hotel that made our stay very enjoyable, over and above all the other hotels we stayed in Italy. She was very service oriented with the goal in mind to service her customer to ensure they had a very enjoyable stay...and we did. Nothing at all. Excellent place to stay. |

The Hotel Villa Liana is a lovely place to stay and the room we had was just fantastic. I made a request for an extra special room as it was to be a special weekend. They then gave us a suite for the price of a superior double, which in itself was fantastic! Beautiful room, furniture and just bursting with character. Tip Top! |

Room was great; breakfast was great, service was great, gardens great. Insummary, a great place to stay !! Nothing to do with the hotel itself, walking distance to main points of interest is something to consider.Perhaps, such a great place to stay, should offer a shuttle service. |

I like the athmosphere of the hotel, rooms, location and the breakfast. Excellent match to Florance Rooms at the street site are quite noisy in the morning. But I would not reccomend to change the old style window frames to install double glazing. |

The address says it all! Overlooking the beautiful church of Santa Maria Novella, Rosso23 is a modern hotel in an ancient building, set right in the heart of Florence. |
The Hotel Balestri offers 51 rooms in the heart of Florence, on the right bank of the Arno River, few steps from Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. |
Hotel Paris is a true jewel in Florentine style, located in the historical centre of the town, a few steps away from the Cathedral and the main museums. |
Previous guests have complimented the friendly staff and attractive garden of this charming 19th century villa, set just a 10-minute walk from Florence train station. |
