The house too close highway,can"t sleep when open the window car noise

Great Italian interior with almost antique furniture and new bath facilities. Good breakfast, enough to walk round the city till lunch. Convenient for travellers with cars. 10 min from the centre

There are no windows in the rooms on the ground floor. Rooms on the 1st floor (Russian 2d) are larger than downstairs.

This time was the 4th stay in this hotel. It became our regular hotel in Firenze. It would be a little far from the main spots, but provided us for a great location with a quiet surroundings and just five minutes walk to the area S.Croce which has many famous restaurants and shops. We didn't feel inconvenience at all.

Very close to city center. Big and beautiful room. Wi-fi is only near reception. Parking costs 18 euro. Breakfast is very good. Комната огромная, с прихожей. Прохладно. Все чисто и аккуратно. Очень близко до центра.

This hotel is beautiful. We would recommend this hotel to friends. The frescos on the ceilings place you right in the middle of Florence history. The tv room is lovely, both in furnishings and offerings.

Comfortable, large triple room. Excellent breakfast.

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the Hotel. It was elegant and more like a home. In suite bath was modern and breakfast buffet was very good.

We really loved our room and the gardens, even in fall. We stayed in a 2 room family room. The breakfast was also very good with many options. I will definitely stay there again when family comes to town. We were in the off season so the price was very reasonable and it was only about a 10 min walk to the Duomo. The staff spoke very good English which was helpful because I have just started learning Italian. There is a kid and dog park half a block away and a wine shop right across the street. There is private gated parking for a fee but we were thankful for that because we had our bikes with us since we traveled to Lucca to ride on the wall. We left them on our car and felt comfortable leaving them outside at night. However, if you have an suv larger than a Honda Pilot you may not be able to get it through the gate.

Beautiful establishment in a quiet residential neighborhood within a short walk to all the sights.

The location of the hotel is okay. The style of the hotel has something. The breakfast was good.

The water pressure was so low that there was little or no water on the second floor for shower or flushing the toilet. We visited the hotel in beginning of october 2012, so no season excuses by little rain or something else are valid. Internet was only working at the reception of the hotel, while wifi should be available in the entire hotel. The personnel did nothing with both complaints. And by-the-way: there is no elevator; quite a climb with your luggage.

Hotel is in European style with spacious room and good facilities - high ceiling, air-conditioner and balcony. It is one of good choice for urban retreat. Staff is helpful and informative. Hotel breakfast is good with adequate food and drinks.

the cosy atmospher

The architecture of the building was very interesting. The property was very well maintained, very clean, lots of fresh flowers, natural light, a beautiful and very well run hotel. The staff should be commended for their service and assistance. Also the best breakfast of any hotel we had stayed at in Italy.

An elevator would be desirable, although it does not detract from the overall quality of the hotel.

Staff made this hotel! Have been travelling a couple of weeks and so far the staff here have been the best! Happy to give recommendations and info of the area. Rooms were well furnished and clean, only gripe was that the air con wasn't fully fitted. Was a machine that didnt work very well and probably would have had the same temp without. But would go back just due to the staff alone. Recommended a restaurant off the beaten track which was the best meal we had so far

Air con was useless!

The hotel was a 19th century building, really very clean with its own parking place. The rooms were decorated with nice antiques and very clean. The breakfast was really good including eggs, cheese, ham, jams, juice, coffee, bread, etc. The location is ecxellent, just 10 min by walk to the heart of Florence and very easy to find.

The air conditioner was very weak but extremely loud. Also the parking costs 18 € a day, which was a bit too much. The staff is very polite but not too friendly. Still, I would definitely go there again if I visit Florence again because of its cleanness, great location, nice decoration and nice breakfast.

As I receive spcial price of this hotel from the booking.com, I booked this hotel immediately. But, When I arrived hotel, I receive 1st Floor room . This room look like underground floor room. Air conditioner is very noisy. To make matters worse, I met bad hotel manager. I don't forget his unkindness.

The hotel was lovely. An old building with lots of character. The staff on duty when we arrived were very good and directed us to their car park, within the grounds, which was very handy. The breakfast was very good, with a varied selection of meat, cheese, cereals etc. A bit of a walk to the sights, bars & restaurants etc. but not a problem for us.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was fantastic and definitely set the bar for future European b&b stays for us. The location is quiet and set outside the immediate city center, so you walk a bit more to find area restaurants, but the quiet is very nice and helps create a sense of safety that we didn't feel in other areas of Florence. The rooms are beautiful, cleaned well and are aesthetically pleasing. This was a great room for a great value.

No negative feedback about this hotel, it was great! Probably our favorite part of Florence!

A lovely hotel in a quiet residential area, well situated on the edge of the old city. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly for us the room was a little on the small side for a week's stay and the furnishings and fittings, though tasteful, were somewhat basic. All-in-all, good value for money.
