Situated opposite some very good restaurants! Spare pillows in the room would have been useful as would a kettle. |

The location was nice. They provided a cot for our baby. The reception staff was really helpful and pleasant. The room was nice and reasonable comfortable. Our room had some smell problems. The bathroom smelt like sewer, and when someone smoked in the nearby room or hallway our room smelled like they were in with us. Although as a non-smoking room it was free of a smoke smell otherwise. There was not any AC so with the window open we had to have the noise from the street. The breakfast was only fair. |

Excellent location, silent side street, good beds, clean, pleasant service at breakfast and in general To my request for a late checkout, they asked 70 Euro for any minute, without even a polite word of 'softening the blow' - not nice and not clever for business |

the location was good, central to what we wanted. The staff were reasonable, rooms were clean and compact the noise over night at ground level was heavy...no air conditioning system made sleeping also difficult...some staff were less than friendly |

what i liked the most was signor Massimo! always very polite and funny. the hotel has a great location. it's close to everything: transportation, monuments, market, shops, museums. great! the breakfast should have more variety, specially fruit! |

For a small city centre hotel the reception area was very welcoming and always manned, with English speaking receptionist who were willing to be helpful. Breakfast was continental and there was as much as we required. Its location is very central for most of the sites and we walked to them all. There was no tea making facility in the room, but the Hotel web site told us this so we took a small travel electric kettle. We have no complaints about the Virgilio. |

The hotel is in a great situation - 10 mins from Coliseum and Trevi Fountain. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was spacious for Italy. We had a room at the front of the hotel and if you left the window open at night - you heard everything that was going on down in the street, so ask for a room at the rear. |

There was no warm water in the room then they changed the room.We went there with our kids. They wanted to watch TV(cartoon) but there was no chanel for kids! Breakfast, it was poor, dirty table, no staff to clean it and do servis cafee or tea. But we stayed there, because with two kids not easy to find another hotel. |

At first glance, the area didn't look very inspiring, but there were lots of discreet restaurants and bars around. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was a bit small. |

It is a small and cosy hotel, in the central Rome, next to the main points of touristic atraction and to the Termini station. The breakfast was consistent and the stuff very friendly. |

Good location, very satisfying breakfast, very clean, good value for money. Minor issues like a broken shower cabinet, lack of TV service, internet service not included in price but nothing really of great importance. |

The location of the hotel is great if you would like to visit all the historical sites, it is a mere 10 minute walk to the colliseum and inbetween two of the major roads within Rome. There is also a very nice restaurant just across the hotel, and a grocer around the corner. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Don't expect wakey wakey eggs and bacey. The breakfast basic and is more of a cold serving, but enough to get you through to lunch. |
