The staff is really friendly. The room was clean.
The room was just behind the reception therefore was pretty noise. In addition to that, the room balcony was just on the main street and people were screaming all night. We had a sleepless nigh.
We only stayed for the one night in order not to miss our flight the following morning, but it was totally clean throughout, polite staff, I would stay in this hotel again.
Doesn't look much from the outside but when you go inside it's totally different
location is about 10 min walk from central station, room is simple but clean, good for budget traveler
Location is very good. Staff also good. Breakfast normal. It is allowed smoking on balcony.
City center very noisy.
- near to the railway station - clean, light rooms with balcony - free breakfast, but it was very simple
- the hotel is in a dangerous looking neighbourhood with lots of strange people - small room with paper thin walls (only inside noise, it can be disturbing if your room is near to the reception) - one of the receptionists is unfriendly
Hotel Zara has a great location- literally a 5 minute walk from the train station. Although the area may seem a little sketchy, we had no issues walking around (even at night!) The hotel itself is very secure. While the bathroom still needs some improvements, overall we thought our stay was right for the price and convenience to the station. Additionally, Hotel Zara’s wifi and air conditioning both worked well during our stay. Also, we have only good things to say about Hotel Zara’s breakfast. Along with packaged pastries, a fruit tart, bread, jam, and cookies, we were provided with a warm, delicious chocolate croissant. Hotel Zara does have an elevator, which is great if you have bags. Just remember to keep some 5 cents for the lift as it is not free.
Very friendly Staff. The hotel is located near to the napoli centrale station, very convenient. And clean room. the price is not expensive, 2 night for 60 euro.
The lift of the building is terrible.
Custard croissants for breakfast :) cheap and convenient for the station
It's a very cheap hotel near a station. No niggles other than what you'd expect. The area is seedy but we guessed that and booked anyway to be near the rail link. I wouldn't walk around the area on my own at night but with a companion it was fine.
the hotel is handy for the stations, the owner is very pleasant and helpful.
the area is nit very good,we got mugged! need i say more
Close to train station, seemed secure for inner city location. Air conditioning worked well, which cut down on street noise. Guy at desk was helpful, seemed to be aware of security and monitoring people staying there.
Breakfast was skimpy, bath towels were tiny and rough, shower sprayed in unusual direction, bare bones hotel, with forbidding appearance, but adequate for price and location...keep your eyes alert, so you leave with valuables and don't carry them in the street!
near to the bus from the airport, not far from the centre big room-enough space, nice and big bathroom
only sweet breakfast
Walking distance from central railway station.
Shifty old air conditioning. Hole in the bathroom wall and all in all a bit messy. After flushing the toilet seat was screaming for minutes. Our room next to the reception wasn't quiet at all.
The staff where very friendly and helpfull, they provided a good breakfast and the hotel is located very close to the station!
The towels where very old and coarse, and the shower faucet a bit lime scaled which made the water shoot out in odd directions harshly.
Easy check in / check out. Friendly staff.
Like anywhere else in neaples it's quite loud when the windows are open.
Considering that this is a 2 star hotel, I would say that my expectations were met for what you pay for. We were given a large family room with 2 double beds and private bathroom between my husband and myself. The location is convenient when taking the Alibus from the airport and taking the train to Sorrento from central station.
We found the beds to be uncomfortable. The location of the hotel may be dodgy but if you have a travel companion it's fine. Also, for those who like a bit of a sleep in, you will find with all rooms along the hallway will have an issue with noise during breakfast time as the hallway isn't sound proofed so you will hear everything during breakfast time.
Terrible and dangerous location. Very noisy. Very small rooms.
Hotel Zara was a nice, clean, very friendly place to stay. The staff was very helpful with information about Naples and transport to the airport very early in the morning.
WiFi worked well, good security, good location handy to railway station. Fruit bowl in room every day was a nice touch, so were the (scratchy) robes. Breakfast was OK, but the coffee was awful.
Have to pay 5c every time you use the elevator, Hotel is on 2nd floor so plenty of stairs to climb if you can't get change anywhere. You don't discover this until you actually get inside it and wonder why the buttons don't work. Some of the daily "fresh" fruit had mould patches toward the end of our stay.
The best location for people who don't want to use public transport to reach the hotel from the train station. This hotel was quite close to train station. There was clean and spacey and we had a wifi in our room.
In our room wasn't fix the problem with toilet cistern, this was a disappointment for us. And also we didn't have place where we could dry our towels. Area around the hotel was full of strange and probably dangerous people.
For the price paid, the hotel room was clean and tidy. The cost of mineral water bottles was very competitive.
The male recptionist Lino was very rude and continously made us very uncomfortable since the time we checked in. There was a lot of noise from the road - so sleep quality was not good. The rooms are so closely knit that you can hear activity from other rooms. The lift doesn't work.
Staff was fabulous as well as the breakfast. Very virtuous and helpful in getting a taxis and where to go eat.
Maintence was non existent. Empty toilet paper roll was left on holder. Toilet paper was left on sink. Toilet leaked and the toilet seat was so much bigger than the toilet the door had to be pushed pass by bending the as tic toilet seat. Cracks in the shower wall and clothes wall holder was broke.
Good value right in amongst it all, but quiet enough and felt very secure with helpfull staff.
Very close the the main station.
Hotels is in bit rough area of the city
close to the train station, its like a safe island in the middle of Napoli, cleaned, rooms and helpful staff
