Score from 11 reviews Excellent
The owner gives us a very personal welcome upon arrival and even briefed us with good places to visit. The ambiance is very homey and is well maintained. One of the best features of this b&b is that they offer 24/7 coffee, tea, cookies and cake which is a generous effort from the owner. Wifi is also good. The room is spacious and the toilet as well. They have good choices of breakfast and delivers it in the room at your prefferred time. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to find an accomodation to vatican (less than 15mins walk) and 1 block (less than 5mins walk) to lepanto metro station and the bus stop.
Location is centered. Easy to reach to historical centers either by walking or metro. Clean rooms, average breakfast but serving to room :)..
Difficult to find the flat... No clear name on rings. Flat is on 3rd floor, left from the elevator...
Everything was perfect! Me and my wife stayed there for 6 nights last Christmas and enjoyed the hospitality of Claudia!
The day we left!!!
Great hotel. Quiet, clean, lovely interior. Airport transfer is available. Very close to Vatican and other beautiful sightseeings. Guide books and maps are provided and free to use. Breakfast is delicious. Coffee, tee, microwave, cookies are available anytime. Also they bake a very wonderful cakes. Many thanks to hostes Claudia, who is very friendly, kind and helpful person. Great holiday!
The location is excellent. Three minutes walk to underground station, 10 min walk to Piazza Poppolo, very close to Vatican. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Very quiet and clean.
We wanted a place in Rome that was away from the Termini hopefully a quieter area...via Giulio Cesare was terrific...tree lined and despite being walking distance to the historic centre and the Vatican you were away from the hustle and bustle. The Metro is only a 5min walk down the street and buses pull up nearly at the door...the 87 takes you to all the major sites. Ms Claudia was the perfect host and her B&B is magnificent. She greeted us at the door with a smile and a freshly brewed coffee and orange juice for the kids. The coffee machine is in the common area and guests are free to use as required. The bowl of fruit and lollies were likewise raided occasionally. The B&B is on the 3rd level with a lift to the door, so no issues for anyone with luggage or not good with stairs. Ms Claudia has a number of guide books in various languages to borrow or peruse...and she was very helpful with a simple map and detailed compendium highlighting public transport and local dining options. We had a 4 people room (double bed and double sofa bed) which was excellent, modern, spotless, heated (and air conditioned) and the windows blocked out all of outside noise...quieter than the Sistine Chapel! Wifi was strong with no disruptions in the room and the common areas. Now let's talk breakfast...... Breakfast was served in the room and was magnificant and very very generous....cereal, toast, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, croissants, fresh brewed coffee, hot chocolate, juices and biscuits.....our two boys nearly exploded! Rome was magnificant to visit made so much better by us staying with Houspitality Caeser....we would recommend it to anyone, anytime and should we be back in Rome ever I would be ensuring we stayed again!
Claudia was very welcoming and even got my hungry 4 year old a sandwich upon arrival! The breakfasts were great as you get to choose what you want, and it was great to have tea, coffee and biscuits as well as a well stocked bowl of fruit outside our room for anytime! The room was really nice and spacious too. The only improvement to the space would have been to have a bath for my 20 month old since we stayed there three nights.
The only complaint I have, and unfortunately it was a big one for me, is the sound factor. Being a little bit away from the main part of the city I looked forward to it being a little quieter. The street was great and I could hardly hear anything from outside, but the noise inside was really bad. You could hear everything. We were right beside the lobby area, so anytime people were talking or getting coffee we could hear it all. There were fairly loud sounds a good portion of the day and night that I wasn't sure what they were, but they woke me up a number of times. Also, the mini fridge was so loud. Not normal fridge sounds but crackly noises that would bother me over the white noise I usually sleep with. If you're a light sleeper beware and bring earplugs and/or whitenoise. Other than that it's great!
Located a walking distance from the vatican, in a nice neighbourhood, there are some restaurants near by. The B&B has a beautiful interior, the owner is very nice, the breakfast was good. If you like to walk, then the center of rome is not that far, if not, there's a metro station 5 minutes from there.
1) Easy to find. 2) Very clean and tidy. 3) Claudia and her team were so friendly and helpful. 4) Definitely value for money. 5) Will definitely recommend to all friends and family (and I have stayed at over 10 different hotels in Rome)
+ Close to the metro station + Very good breakfast in your room + Helpful staff
The room is not soundproof. You can listen people talking in the hall.
Location is all but ideal: 200m from the metro station, very easy to reach from the FCO airport by combining train and metro (it takes around 60 mins). The street (via Giulio Cesare) is a lovely av with tall trees, very quiet neighbourhood on the river bank, a bit of traffic noise during the day but really no big deal. There are good local food and ice cream places around, in case you want to eat in the neighbourhood. Vatican is 10 min walk, Piazza del Popolo also 10 min, Piazza Venezia 30 min walk. If you enjoy walking around you really need no public transport at all - we literally reached everywhere on foot! The place itself is just lovely. Comfortable appartment with beautiful common area for breakfast (that is really good) and snacks (that is complimentary). Ms Claudia is very helpful and kind, she really made us feel welcome and well treated (she also lives there so you can find her around most of the time in case you need something - and she responds propmptly). Compared to general prices and quality of accommodation in Rome we found Houspitality Caesar a great value for money and we would definitely come back!
WiFi connection was weak/slow. We really did not mind this but it may be important to those guests who cannot afford data roaming.
We loved everything about the b&b . It was perfect! Spotless clean, great location and we will definately be going back
Exceeded our expectations! A lovely place to stay in Rome. They we're so accommodating and even bought our toddler some milk before our arrival! And the breakfast's we're so delicious!
Smart localisation. Very nice breakfast. Great value for money.
Poor WiFi in Caesar's room.
Very nice room and very clean. The guy from the stuff was very helpfull. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is near metro station (Lepanto)
Very nice looking and new, Perfect breakfast, Relatively calm residential area, Close to vatican, Soundproof windows.
Wifi was off for one day (could not obtain IP address), a bit short bed if you are over 180 cm, We visited in may andit was a bit too cold inside during night, Not many restaurants, bars around (but this could be also a pro asthe area is calm enough)
Gordon who stays there was extremely helpful and attentive and made us feel at home immediately. The room (pompea) was a good size with a nice tiled bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised at the price of the beer in the minibar.
everything! very good communication with staff, they waited for us during the night as we had plane very late
