Score from 54 reviews Wonderful
The location. The breakfast was fair. This is an average hotel although they are trying to improve.
The hotel is under renovation and the lift on our floor didn't work well.
Location is great. Large LCD TV.
Old building. Poor facilities.
The location could not be beat. Less than 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, 5 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. Taxi stand across the street. Room was large and comfortable for four (2 adults, 2 teens). The staff (when there) was very helpful.
The desk is not staffed at all hours -- only 2 pm to 10 pm. The shower smelled like mildew.
ITs not a Hotel at All Reception works 8 hours only a day No Laundry No 24/7 Room Service No Hotel Entrance No Elevators , Very old Building 1830 AC not working in Rome in August Very Very Very Bad Hotel
Location was great! (a short walk to spanish steps and most tourist spots)Fun view from the window of local outdoor patios. Beds were comfortable and suited 2 nights stay with our teenagers. Room was pleasant once we got there from the walk up.
Air didnt work well despite reviews. . The walk up from the road was very "unhotel like" .
Location Value WiFi
Water in coffee machine was dirty with things floating in it and had a horrible smell I tried to clean it myself but still had a bad smell I did not end up using the coffee machine
Central location. Very helpful, courteous staff. Excellent place to stay
Location and good sized room
Entrnce can be very offputting
The location was perfect, the rooms were always clean and we had fresh towels every day. Our double bed was comfy and the staff was polite. I would stay there again.
Our friends didn't get the family room they had booked. Instead they were given two seperate rooms. Our kids sofa-bed wasn't comfortable at all.
Only the location was Good
The building,no receptionist available only a helper cleaning the rooms with poor English.Awful beakfast, not on time and not very clean. Very disappointed from booking.com for choosing these kind of rooms. Will not recomand it at all and very expensive for what I got. I could have stayed in a much better hotel with this price. Knowing that I am a regular client here :)
Great location, clean rooms, helpful staff.
Wifi didn't work in rooms
The receptionist and housekeeping were very friendly, extremely helpful and pro-active, and went out of their way to help our two-family group. We were extremely impressed and pleased by the large size of rooms, immaculate cleanliness, air conditioning, high ceilings, and lovely furnishings. The location was very central and allowed us to walk to and from Vatican City as well as to and from Colosseum and several other major landmarks, all in the same day and with young children in tow.
The location is excellent. Walking distance from Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. We used a family room which is large and good for 2 adults and 2 kids. Reception staff were very helpful with restaurant suggestions. Would highly recommend for location and room size.
Breakfast could have been better for the price that is charged. The shower area gets clogged with water due to the slow drainage in the shower area. Wifi works intermittently.
The location was perfect for walking to many important tourist sites. Trevi Fountain=5 min Spanish Steps=8 min Coliseum=15 min Vatican=30 min. It was also very close to restaurants and shops.
We grossly overpaid for 2 rooms to fit our family of 6. The place looked more like converted apartments than a hotel. There was a front desk (no lobby) and a hallway with doors. None of the doors had room numbers on them. There seemed to be 2 other hotels similar to this in the same building. Very strange. Other than location, the reason I picked this place was because of the breakfast buffet that was supposed to be included. There was NO breakfast buffet. Instead, they delivered juice, coffee and a couple of small brioches each morning to our door. Very disappointing since we had 4 small children with us. Instead of the nightly champagne reception that was advertised, they brought us more juice and brioches to our door. For the exorbitant price, I would have been better off booking a full service hotel. Live and learn I guess.
Location was good, I walked around everywhere - to Trevi, Colosseum, Via Del Corso, Panthenon, etc. Very clean and bathroom was comfortable. Wifi is stable.
Breakfast is served in the room ONLY, and it consists of 2 danish, a coffee and an orange concentrate. Room was near the main road, so abit noisy. TV - only in Italian! Reception only opens at 12pm, you will not find anyone whom you can drop off your luggage with any earlier.
Breakfast was awful
Perfect location to visit Rome. Loved the free WiFi and the breakfast served in our room in the morning.
We had a wonderful stay in your hotel and would definitely stay again. It is so central we walked everywhere. The staff were very friendly and the snacks and drinks at the reception desk were a nice gesture. We also enjoyed the pastries and juice left in our room at night .
We could not access the Wi Fi until the staff gave us a portable box type Wi Fi unit which worked very well and fixed the problem.
The staff, all peaple are excellent
We did not like the bed. They do not have ice. Breakfast is poor.
The staff was friendly and helpful especially Ilaria. Her response to my emails was very fast. Excellent service, Ilaria!
Having to carry suitcases up the staircase to the elevator landing!
The staff was very nice. Breakfast in the room every day. Also aperitives in the room every day.
You can not call it a hotel, when you don't have main door or porter to carry your bags ,very old left,NO PHONE,poor breakfast, small rooms
The staff is very helpfull and friendly, the location is great- we walked pretty much everywhere, breakfast was good enough- they have fresh fruit salad and make omelettes which is a plus- cereal variety is not great though (coco pops and corn flakes I think)- I would have appreciated some nutricious cereal like wheat or oats. They bring aperitif to the rooms at 7pm everyday which is a very nice touch! The mini bar is fairly priced.
The noise from the street when sleeping-make sure you bring earplugs or request a room that is not on the street side if you are not used to city traffic noise.
Centrally located, enthusiastic and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, it is located on the first floor of an old building which does not look impressive, but inside, the room is spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable
The staff was great. The hotel is not big, but bery nice located. Elevator was a nice surprise.
The walls are a little too thin. You can hear the people talking.
